I like to think that before Jake Sully became a Military Dad ™️ he was the kind of insufferably affectionate dad that would have a child attached to one or more of his limbs, koala-style, at all times.
Omaticaya elders’ meeting? Olo’ekytan has a new arm accessory. It’s a toddler.
Formal greeting between tribal chiefs? Toruk Makto appears with a toddler attached to his calf and a baby gripping his head with all four limbs like it’s a banana-fruit.

Mama's Boy | Part 4
Pair: Jake x neytiri x human reader (trio couple) x sully children's
Warning: Kinda sad, cozy moments, conflict, family problems
Note: This part may be a bit long, but I hope you still enjoy it. I think only one part is left, but we'll see. Do you like the reading to be this long or shorter?. btwI recently opened a KO-Fi…. if you want to leave any tips or support I would appreciate it (it would help me to buy real coffee xD).
AVATAR MASTERLIST | Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6(final)
7 years ago… You were quite calm decorating and cleaning your home, neytiri was out for a walk with kiri and baby tuk. While jake had gone out to practice with lo'ak and neteyam. Leaving you alone, and peaceful. But all that quiet was interrupted, when you heard a lo'ak crying. He came rushing in, straight towards you. He was wiping away the tears that were falling on his cheeks. "MAMA" lo'ak whimpers, coming towards you. Throwing himself into your arms, not caring what you were doing. The boy wrapped his arms around your neck, burying his face in your neck. Lo'ak was 7 years old, and already about your height. But that didn't stop his mother from comforting him, and right now he needed it. "Honey…what's wrong? You're hurt" you push him away a little, taking a quick look. You see that he doesn't have any injuries, so what was wrong with him. You hug him again, caress his back. And you cuddle him from side to side. Trying to calm the child down. After a couple of minutes, you feel lo'ak move away a little. You wipe his face a little. "Are you more calm?" you smile at him a little trying to comfort him.
"Yes…it's just that…" lo'ak tries to speak, but stops when he feels his tears coming again. "Calm down love…what's wrong" you speak, you were worrying about whatever had happened, it was really mortifying him. "I was with daddy…practicing my shots with my bow. It was my turn and " lo'ak takes a deep breath. You already knew what the boy was going to say, you gently caress his cheek. "I didn't get it right…and I would try again many times. But dad told me that neteyam was better at archery than me. And that's not true!!!" Lo'ak begins to cry. "Love…daddy only said that for your own good, to make you better" you know it's not right what jake said. You hated it when jake compared lo'ak to neteyam. "No…he said neteyam was much better than me in everything…that I should be like him. And I don't want to be like neteyam, neteyam is ugly" lo'ak yells a little.
"Hey, first neteyam is not to blame for anything…and second, I will talk to your father. But love…don't make a big deal out of those comments. Your father sometimes doesn't think about what he's going to say, okay?" you try to reassure the boy. "Why don't you go and find spider, and you two can play. Yeah?" you say, watching as the boy perks up.
That same night, you and Jake have a big argument. Even neytiri had to step in. She was never on either side. It was so bad, that you even took lo'ak and left the house to sleep with mo'at. Behind you were kiri and neteyam. "You can't take the children with you," shouts Jake in anger. "Of course I can, I'm not going to leave them here with an immature person" you shout back, neytiri was trying to rationalize with you. But she ends up following you, giving Jake a disapproving look.
Present day…
"mom…can you help me with this?" asks neteyam, approaching you. He was holding a pretty feather ornament. "Sure come here sweetie" you speak, inviting him to sit down in front of you. You get up from the floor, to now work on his hair. The whole family had gotten up early to finish packing, almost everything was ready. But there were more things to pack, now that they had spent time in the metkayina clan. As you worked on neteyam's hair, you noticed how the scar from his wound had healed, but it was still there. "Honey…I'm glad to see you are healing" you speak, listening as neteyam laughs but then goes silent. "mom for a moment i thought i was going to die and never see you again" neteyam says. Lo'ak was sitting on your left side, he heard what his brother said. He quickly tapped him on the shoulder. "Bro…don't say that" lo'ak didn't like to talk about it. You on the other hand felt sorry, you almost lost one of your babies and you weren't there. You wrap your arms around his shoulders, and give him a hug. The tightest hug you can. "I would have found a way to see you, you know that right?" you speak, watching as the boy turns to look at you. "I know mom…that's why I stopped worrying" neteyam laughs a little. Settling down so you can continue to work on his hair.
Meanwhile tonowari was on his way to the sully's marui, that same morning he woke up early and discussed his decision with ronal, the woman strongly disagreed. She did not like the idea of having a human in her clan. But she had to support her partner's decision. Tonowari quietly approached the entrance of the marui and stood in silence. To his surprise, he had the scene that lo'ak was trying to explain to him the night before. Neteyam was sitting, while you were combing his hair. Lo'ak sat next to you eating a piece of fruit, while laughing with kiri. The children looked so happy around you, they felt safe. He walked in a little, causing his presence to be noticed by jake. The whole family looked at him. "tonowari…is something wrong?" asks jake, finding the man's presence in their home strange.
"I came here because I want to talk…to the whole family" says tonowari, looking at you quickly. I had to admit, your presence was strange. "Come in," says Jake. Everyone turns their attention to the man who had now sat down. "Your son…lo'ak" tonowari points to lo'ak quickly. Jake looks at him with concern, what lo'ak must have done now. Swallowing hard, praying it's nothing bad. "The boy talked to me and I must say he was mature enough to stand up for his mother" tonowari says.
"I'm sorry if he said something he shouldn't I" jake started to apologize, but tonowari raises his hand to pause him. "He didn't do anything wrong…in fact he convinced me. I accept that human stays between us" tonowari says, lo'ak looks at you and smiles wide. Holding your hand tightly. "Are you serious?" jake couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Yes…I can imagine how bad it must be for the family not to have a member in it." Tonowari can see how everyone in the family gets excited. "But I have one condition," Tonowari says, staring at you. "Yes tell me…whatever" you speak, tonowari is surprised. For the first time he was talking to you face to face, he must admit you were very beautiful. And he could notice some features you shared with your son, lo'ak.
"I will give you a testing time. You will have to live as a metkayina, swim, fish, work as a metkayina. You will not be anyone's burden, and you will earn your own place here in the clan, that's for sure," says Tonowari. He was serious, you only had one chance. If you did something wrong, or made a mistake it was all over. "Don't worry, I will do my best. I assure you I won't cause any trouble," you say. "They're going to love her," says Kiri excitedly, getting up from the floor to hug you. This news makes the whole family happy. Tonowari says goodbye and leaves. The whole family is silent for a moment, analyzing what had happened. This was a lot of information, for such a short time. "Mom…you are staying here!!!" says lo'ak, the boy is so excited. He was about to cry. The only family member who hadn't said anything was jake, he was still sitting in the same position.
"Lo'ak…why did you go talk to tonowari and not say anything to me" jake sounded upset, in fact he looked upset. "Jake" neytiri starts talking, she already knew what jake was going to come out with. "Dad it's just that you had argued with him and I wanted to fix things" lo'ak tries to explain his point of view. "You know this could have ended worse" jake says, you pick yourself up off the floor. Making a noise like 'ha'. Jake looks at you in surprise. "I can't believe it, your son has done something wonderful. And instead of congratulating him…you're scolding him? You are unbelievable jake" you speak, while crossing your arms. Neytiri could see your position, and if there was one thing she knew, it was that you were not an easy woman. You might be small, but your character and the power you had over Jake was gigantic. "Okay, everybody calm down. Lo'ak you did a great job" neytiri reaches up to stroke the boy's face. "And jake…Y/N is right, no need to complain" neytiri speaks, hoping everything will calm down.
Jake takes a deep breath, stretching his arms in the air. Shaking his body a little, stretching out one of his hands to signal for you to come closer. He had a goofy grin on his face, when he felt you approach his arm. Skillfully grabbing your waist, with a quick movement pulling you into his body . Cuddling you into his arms, filling your cheeks with kisses as your laughter could be heard throughout the marui. This was supposed to be a moment of happiness for the family, they were finally going to be together after a long time apart. That same morning, everyone helped to unpack all the belongings. Neytiri was thankful that the heaviest things had not been packed, because they did have a lot of things. Also that night, the family celebrated like in the old days, of course…inside the marui and in silence. Preparing a good meal, dancing and laughing about the old days. It felt so nostalgic, it had been a long time since they had had such a good time.
Everyone got ready to rest. The boys settled into their hammocks, ready to sleep. As in the old days, you went one by one to say good night to them. Giving them a kiss on the forehead. First it was tuk, then kiri, then neteyam and for the last it was lo'ak. "Goodnight my precious baby" you speak, giving him a kiss on the forehead. Watching as lo'ak giggles tenderly, he looked so adorable like that. "Mama can you sleep with me?" lo'ak asks you, causing a smile from you. "Love…" you didn't know what to say to him, lo'ak was too old for you to sleep with him. But you felt sorry for your boy, he had missed you so much. But if you were going to be fair, all the children in the family had asked to sleep with you. Just before you could give an answer, Jake came up behind you. "ahh no, your mom is going to sleep with us…and that's it" says jake, seeing how lo'ak's face is one of sadness. "I promise you that later mom will sleep with you, ok?" you speak, saying goodbye again to lo'ak.
Jake and you walked away. Jake looked back, to see lo'ak giving him a dirty look. This surprised Jake, chuckling to himself. As he walked you over to the hammock you shared. "Ney" you hum, as you climb into the hammock. Snuggling into neytiri's chest, she snuggles you into her arms. Feeling jake settle in behind you. "Your son hates me," jake says, burying his head in the back of your neck. "Which one?" you speak, as neytiri lets out a laugh. "Hey" jake slaps you on your ass. You and neytiri continue to laugh. "I'm talking about lo'ak, you would have seen the way he looks at me" jake was still shocked, lo'ak had never looked at him like that. "You asked for it…you're taking his mom" says neytiri. "Yeah but his mom…she's ours too, isn't she?" says jake, leaving a few wet kisses on your neck. Neytiri hugs you tighter on her chest, you felt so good. You had missed them too much.
2 months later…
You had gotten used to life in the new clan pretty fast. You had started taking some lessons with ronal on fishing, since you couldn't ride an ilu. You had to do everything the traditional way, according to the na'vis. But for you it was normal, humans had to do things traditionally all the time. So fishing with a net, collecting the things you had to use, even though it was more difficult, you had managed it. Ronal was still not very sure about you, whenever you were with her there was always your bodyguard, Neytiri. Your partner did not leave you alone with Ronal at any time. According to Neytiri Ronal could tempt you with your life. You thought she was overreacting, but you didn't argue with neytiri about such things, she had always been that way with you.
On the other hand, tonowari could tell that everything jake and lo'ak had told her about you was true. You were the most peaceful person he had ever met. He had barely listened to you, well… he hadn't talked to you much. But whenever he saw you, you were always with your children, or helping a clan member. Tonowari would approach the na'vis and ask them what they thought of you. They would always respond with a 'she is very nice''I like her, she is a very good person'. This would relieve it a little, but you were still on probation.
On the other hand, your relationship with your family was in a good state, better than ever. Everything seemed to be running smoothly. Or so you thought. It was morning around 10:00 am as far as you could calculate. Kiri had insisted the night before that you accompany her to look for shells on the beach where she liked to go. You accepted without a problem, you had nothing to do and wanted to spend time with one of your girls. Lo'ak was invited to the expedition, of course he didn't have to ask…he was always with you. If he wasn't with his friends, it was behind you. "Hey…watch out, the sun looks like it's going to be very hot" says neytiri. If the sun was bad for the na'vi, it was worse for you. You joke a little, watching as neytiri approaches you to put some kind of cream on you to protect you from the sun. You and Jake joked that this was a sunblock bomb, because the smell was so strong. "Ahh I hate that smell!!!" you complain, but neytiri nips you a little to stop you from moving. "Yeah…but you're going to thank me when you don't get burned like a tapirus" neytiri sounds angry, seeing that you don't take her concern seriously.
You say goodbye and leave with kiri and lo'ak towards the beach. They arrived quickly, the place was very close. Kiri was lying in the water, sinking her face from time to time. While you were sitting next to her, you had your head back and your eyes closed. Enjoying the warmth, it had rained a lot the previous days. The weather felt great. While lo'ak was playing eywa knows where. You could just hear the water splashing in the distance. Out of nowhere, you feel someone approach and make a spray of water fall on your face. "Lo'ak…watch out!!!" you scold, seeing the boy laughing in front of you. He looked like a puppy about to make a mischief. "Mom, I want you to meet someone?" says lo'ak. This gets your attention, settling in straight to look at him. "Is it a girl? Tsireya?" you ask, lo'ak gets nervous and moves his face in a 'no' expression. "It's something better…it's my other brother" lo'ak says, you look at him curiously. Lo'ak had gone crazy, as far as you knew the only brother he had was neteyam. "You mean teyam?" you say.
Lo'ak lets out a laugh, as he sits closer to you. "Mama no, he is ahhh he is a tulkun. I want you to meet him" lo'ak was excited, he wanted you to meet payakan. You think about it for a while, but you accept. You couldn't say no to that adorable little face. You tap kiri's shoulder. The little girl lifts her face. "What happened, Mom?" speaks Kiri, and you brush a few strands of hair out of her face. "Honey I'm going for a walk with lo'ak do you want to go?" you ask her. "Nooo mama just you and me" lo'ak complains, crossing his arms. "You don't have to yell…mom don't worry I'll be here a while longer and then I'll go home" kiri says.
"Ok….but be very careful. I trust you" you speak, watching as Kiri smiles at you and goes back to playing with the little fish in the area. You get up from the water, accompanying lo'ak. He was already jumping up and down with excitement. Telling you all about his friend, how he met him and where he came from. All while walking towards his ilu. The trip was quite fast, lo'ak arrived getting up a little from his ilu. Calling out his friend's name. "Mama he will be here soon" lo'ak looks around, seeing if he saw his friend. "Don't worry if he doesn't come" you speak up, but remain silent when you see as a shadow below you. "Here he is!!!" lo'ak says, excited. Payakan comes out of the water, making a noise of greeting. "Payakan look…this is my mom. Remember I told you about her?" says lo'ak moving to the side, to take your hand. So that you would come closer to him. Lo'ak sometimes forgot that your legs were shorter and you were smaller. But you manage to stand now on the creature's flipper. While lo'ak's ilu begins to swim around.
"Mama he is payakan my brother…and payakan she is my mama" lo'ak speaks, petting the creature. Tulkun makes another noise, and you startle a little. You had to admit that this was very new to you. You still didn't understand the language of signs very well, let alone this creature. "mama he says you are very pretty" says lo'ak. You could see the look of pride on his face, this was very important to him. "Thank you" you look at payakan, and he gets excited. Making a stream of water come out of his back. "Mama likes you very much" lo'ak says. You giggle a little, reaching over to pet the creature. It was very amazing and majestic. You and lo'ak spent the whole afternoon playing and hanging out together. For a moment, you just sit in lo'ak's ilu, watching the boy swim and play with his friend. You loved seeing him like that, so happy and carefree.
After a while, for some reason you started to feel sick. You had felt dizzy that morning, but you didn't think it was important. But now you were feeling worse, the dizziness was getting stronger and your vision was getting quite blurry. And not to mention the headache and stomach pain you were getting. "L-lo'ak" you yell under your breath. You were already writhing in pain, you lean forward. Trying to get your balance. The ilu of lo'ak noticed something was going on, and began to make a lot of noise. Catching lo'ak's attention, the boy stops swimming and takes a look at your location. He can tell how you were moving oddly, and his ilu looked a little uneasy.
He swims as fast as he can, coming towards you. "MAMA, MAMA!!!" lo'ak approaches and tries to get your attention. Lifting your shoulder, but he sees how you don't respond. You had fainted, your body was resting in the ilu. "Mom get up, what's wrong with you!!!" lo'ak is getting very desperate, what had happened to you, you were fine minutes ago. Maybe the sun was too strong, or you were sick. Lo'ak climbs into his ilu, carrying you in his arms. Leaving for the clan, he made his ilu swim as fast as possible, but he could not hold back his tears. You were still not getting up and he was getting desperate. "mama please…get up" shouts lo'ak shaking you a little. The trip back was a long one for lo'ak, arriving at the coast. Shouting his father's name for him to arrive. "Dad!!!dad!!!help!!!" shouts lo'ak.
Jake had arrived at the marui, he was accompanied by neytiri. Kiri had told them that you and lo'ak had gone for a walk. But she didn't tell them where you were going, this made Jake a little nervous. Jake was very careful with you, and even more so since you were on probation. You couldn't cause trouble or else they would have to leave. Jake hears the shouts of lo'ak, who were approaching the marui. "What's going on?" neytiri gets up from the ground, running to the entrance accompanied by jake. Watching as lo'ak enters with his mother in his arms. You had woken up on the road, but a you were still very dizzy. "Y/N!!!" neytiri takes you in her arms, and quickly places you on the ground. "Lo'ak what happened…what happened?" shouts jake, sitting down next to neytiri. Watching as the woman tried to stabilize y/n. "Honey, come on open your eyes" says jake, tapping you on the cheek. While neytiri placed a wet cloth on her forehead, jake tried to get your oxygen machine to pump out more oxygen (here I'm talking about the mask the reader is wearing).
After a while, neytiri managed to get you up. "Take some water" neytiri speaks, stroking your hair. You were sitting up, feeling tired and even a little dizzy. Lo'ak was standing all this time, watching as his parents tried to help you. "Don't worry…it was just a dizzy feeling" you laugh a little. "A simple dizziness…ma y/n you were unconscious" neytiri speaks annoyed. Meanwhile jake was walking from one side of the marui to the other. "Lo'ak what the hell happened? What did you do?" jake looks at lo'ak intensely. "I…mom and I were at the sea. We were visiting payakan" lo'ak says timidly. The poor boy looks at you quickly, trying to seek your help. "J-jake" you speak softly. But you watch as your partner ignores you, and moves closer to lo'ak. "Why are you so ignorant…you know that's a dangerous place for your mother" jake yells.
"But daddy" lo'ak tries to defend himself. "Dad nothing… why are you like this? You're fucking irresponsible" jake yells again. But the words were like a knife to lo'ak, jake was acting as if the boy had caused this on purpose. "JAKE" you yell, getting up from the ground. Neytiri tries to stop you, but you walk towards jake. "What the hell is wrong with you?" you look at Jake in shock. "I'm telling him the truth, why can't he behave like neteyam" says jake.
"Because he's not neteyam!!!!" you yell as loud as you can. Lo'ak wipes away some tears and runs out of the marui. "Lo'ak come over here!!!" jake was going to stop lo'ak, but you stop him. "What do you want him to stay for?" you were annoyed, jake was always going overboard with lo'ak. He didn't half like how he talked to his son. "Why do you keep comparing lo'ak to neteyam? They are completely different people. Besides this whole situation is not his fault" you speak.
"But he knows he shouldn't take you to that place," Jake speaks. "Jake, I'm a grown woman…I do what I want. And I'm getting sick and tired of this attitude you have with our kids. I'm reaching my limit" you were so upset, you were turning red with anger. "Y/N listen to me" jake tries to speak.
"I don't want to listen to you…this isn't something that's happening now. This has been going on for years. Have you ever wondered why your children look at you with fear, because yes, they are afraid of you? Have you ever asked them how they feel or what they want to do, no. You just give orders and think that everyone is doing what they want to do. You just give orders and think everyone here is going to follow them." You yell, pacing a bit all over the marui. Neytiri was sitting on the floor watching and listening to all the discussion. She wasn't saying anything, because she knows you were right.
"I think I'm tired of this…I love you Jake, I love you with all my soul, but I think it's best if we go back to our home… "You lower your head, you felt bad and this whole situation was exhausting you more. You didn't want it to escalate to this level. "Let's go home?" jake gets a little confused, glancing quickly at neytiri. She lifts her shoulders, she didn't know what you were talking about. "I will go with lo'ak to our home, live with mo'at. If any of the children want to leave with me I will take them. But I will not leave them here…getting this treatment. Because they deserve to have a normal childhood" you had tears in your eyes. Leaving Jake there silent and stunned, as you walked towards the Marui's balcony. Neytiri gets up quickly chasing after you.
"Y/N!!!" neytiri holds your hand, you didn't want to look at her. You were too overwhelmed. "Tell me what you are saying is not true. You love us, you love me and Jake. We can work this out." neytiri makes you look at her. She knew you were right, but she couldn't let you go. Let one of her children go away. "I can't stand jake" you yell a little. Neytiri stands there in silence, she knew you weren't really saying it, you loved Jake. Something was happening to you. "You are not serious" neytiri sounded sad. "Ney…let's go away, the two of us, let's go back home. I need to be home" you start crying, the more you talk. Neytiri pulls you to her chest, wrapping you in a very tight hug. "Ma y/n…be calm. I miss our home too" says neytiri. Sitting there, with you in her arms.she sensed something was happening to you, something in you was changing, you weren't like that. Meanwhile, Jake was not far from you. He felt so bad…this was his fault.
"Do you think mom will leave us?" tuk looks at neteyam and kiri. The group of kids had been spying on their parents, when they saw lo'ak come out of the marui. The boy was sitting next to neteyam. He was still teary-eyed. "Well I'm going to my mama's," said lo'ak, he was upset. "I…I don't know. But I don't want mom to leave" neteyam looks back inside the marui. This is the first time he has seen his parents argue like this.
P.s I promise I will upload the next part soon. But I would like to know what you guys think so far. And what do you think is going to happen?

You awake from your slumber with a low groan at the way the chills have overtaken your body, the dead of night furthering the discomfort you feel and the way you come to yearn for muted alleviation. You look around your adoptive family’s marui, desperate to find someone you could cuddle up to, anyone who could provide your body the warmth it craved.
Despite how much they bickered, Lo’ak and Kiri were twin souls, and they always made peace at night, sharing a woven blanket and a warm embrace. You smiled at them, shaking your head lightly at how easily forgotten all their fights seemed to be as soon as eclipse took over the land, as soon as the cover of bioluminescent darkness enveloped their consciousness. Tuk was nestled tightly in between Jake and Neytiri, and you were almost worried she would be suffocated in their grasp, one of each their arms meeting on her tiny frame, holding her close.
That left Neteyam, who seemed fast asleep on one side, one of his arms beneath his head and the other rested carelessly over his waist and abdomen, and you couldn’t help stare at this man you loved like a brother, but ached for in ways that made you ashamed and embarrassed, that you could never admit to out loud, that you were scared to even think about most days, afraid that the intensity of those thoughts was so loud, they could be heard, and Eywa, that would lead to a whole slew of issues you were too scared to even conceptualise.
But despite the way you hindered your own brain from deliberating on the way you wanted him in ways you could never have him, it didn’t stop said brain from manifesting your wildest desires in dreams and reveries, in the way you woke up each night sweating and with slick running down your ass or thighs and soaking into your mat, the way it was taunting you with images of his body, strong and powerful, muscular and lean, contracting and flexing as his cock sank deeper and deeper in you, filling the void you felt every day of your life, that you only want him to fill.
You get up quietly and make your way to him, dragging your thin covers with you to where he lay, getting on your side so your back was to him, nuzzling until you felt his chest taut against you, until his heartbeat rang loudly in you, until it overtook your own, until it was all you heard, and all you felt. The closeness hurt you, the ache reaching new heights, and it was overwhelming as his hand instinctively reached for your body, in his sleep, his touch lighting your skin on fire, his fingers lingering on your ribs. His unyielding grip pulled you so close, your ass was rested against his groin, and you let out a sharp exhale when you noticed he was hard, when you noticed his loincloth was damp. His voice startled you as he spoke, quiet as the night that still blanketed your world and your progressively untethered self, doing a good job of hiding your disheveled form or the blush in your cheeks, but not a good job at protecting you from the increase luminosity of your freckles or the moans that escaped you when his thick cock brushed against your folds.
“What are you doing here, pretty girl?” His mouth was near your lips, his breath fanning over the side of your face and neck, sending chills down your body and all of a sudden you didn’t know whether you were cold or hot anymore, your body struggling to comprehend all the sensations being elicited in it, in you.
You swallowed loudly, trying to find your voice in your throat and breath in your lungs enough to be able to pull together a string of sounds that would sound normal and relaxed, and not breathy and wanting, like you knew they would be.
“I’m cold, ’Teyam, and you were the only lonely one.” He let out a quiet chuckle and his hand started tracing your body softly, a touch so light it was barely there, and the chills deepened, goosebumps appearing in his touch’s wake.
“Well, not anymore, and thank fuck for cold nights, huh?” his hands didn’t stop when they reached your navel, slowly inching their way south, and you whimpered a little knowing where they were going, unwilling and unable to understand what was happening to you, whether this was a dream or a nightmare, whether you were actually living this and it wasn’t just a vivid vision here to taunt you, before morning came and took it away from you forever.
“Neteyam, what are you doing?” Your voice was breathy and weak, but alert nonetheless, aware of the situation and your adoptive family sleeping peacefully next to you, and how easy it would be for anyone to wake up and any point and witness this. The shame and fear was almost as overwhelming to you as the desire to give in to him, no questions asked, no care in the world for consequences and risks as long as it ended with your eyes rolled in the back of your head and his cum dripping down you thighs.
“I’m not doing anything, little sis. Just here to make sure you’re… warm. What kind of brother would I be if I didn’t help my step-sister when she clearly needs me?” The amused tone in his voice didn’t go unnoticed, and neither did the way his fingers slipped past your loincloth and found your clit, that was swollen and needy, or the way they ghosted over it and your folds in scant, fluttery touches.
“Your smell has been driving me crazy for weeks, sevin. For weeks, I’ve had to pretend to be ignorant of the way your scent has been calling out to me, your pheromones washing over me and making my cock so hard, I can’t concentrate anymore. For weeks, I have dreamt of fucking you, of slipping my cock past your sopping folds, dreamt of seeing you come apart around me. It’s so fucking wrong, but so are you. And so am I.” You shuddered at his words and how his sharp canines dragged along your pulse point, at how his fingers stilled on your clit, not giving you the release you desperately craved, at how his lips pressed on your jaw and sucked, or how they licked the spot that was now slightly hurting, immediately alleviating any discomfort you felt.
“But I need to hear you say it, baby girl. I can’t do anything until you say it. Do you want your step brother to fuck you?”
A moan and a small nod is all you managed in response, but it was enough for Neteyam, who started a slow caress of your bud, putting just enough pressure to make you pant, to adjust your position so he would get better access, arching your back so that your ass was pressed even tighter against him and he groaned lowly, the sound making you clench around thin air.
“Please, Neteyam…”
“What is it, pretty girl? What do you need?”
“You… your cock, please.” His groan evolved into a quiet growl, reverberating in the marui and you both stilled as Kiri shifted a little in her sleep. Her deep breaths put you both at ease, if only a little.
“You drive me fucking crazy, you know that? Do you have any idea what you do to me? What I’ll do to you?”
You felt his cock brush against your folds as he released it from the constraints of his nightwear, and the velvety feel of his thick length made your head fall back into the crook of his neck, needing every spare ounce of self-restraint not to moan so loudly it wouldn’t just be heard in your family’s tent, but in the whole clan. His tip prodded at your soaking wet entrance, and when he slipped past your folds and into you, each inch felt like every one of your dreams come true, and you no longer had enough brain power to stop the mewling sounds escaping you.
“You need to be quiet, sevin. You don’t want anybody to hear, now do you? What do you think our parents would say if they saw how deep in your pretty little cunt I am, huh?”
When he bottomed out, his tip was pushed against your cervix and the way he filled you up was beyond any fantasy, better than even the most intense ones, the wildest ones, the best ones.
“You’re doing so well for me, baby. Who knew my little step sister would take my cock so well, like this tight pussy was made for me?”
He started an unrushed, languid pace of his hips, that got quicker and more aggressive, more desperate and sloppy as his own orgasm approach and you felt yours taking over you slowly, raising in intensity as his fingers continued their ministrations of your clit at the same time, until it was so intense it was overpowering and oppressive, until you needed to let it out so you wouldn’t collapse under its weight.
“I can feel you squeezing me, baby. You want to milk me, want to take my cum like the good girl you are?”
You nodded furiously, and his whispered, breathy “Then come for me, pretty girl. I want to feel you, all of you.” pushed you over the edge, your orgasm violent and unending, streams of liquid mixing with his own release as you squirted all over his cock, making a mess of both your loincloths and the sleeping mat underneath. You couldn’t care less about explaining yourself, not when your head was empty and your cunt full, the only way you wanted to be every day going forward, for the rest of your life.
You both came off your high panting, struggling to catch your breath and any thoughts swirling aimlessly in your brain, and you couldn’t find it in you to move, and he couldn’t find it in him to pull out, so you just lay like that, him spooning you closely, licking stripes over your neck and jaw, and you felt desire build in you again, instant and frenzied.
“Next time, how about we put that pretty mouth of yours to good use, huh?”

- His Precious Tawtute -
Pairing: Ao’nung x fem!human!reader
Request: [ @teyamsbitch ] one being shorter and it being a source of great enjoyment for the other w/ Ao'nung || I feel like Ao'nung would have a field day knowing he can tower over us and use our head as an armrest and we act like we don't like it but we do anything to be near him.
Synopsis: Ao’nung wasn’t too fond of you when you first arrived with the Sullys’ especially since you were human but when he got to know you he was head over heels.
Content: Established relationship, extra fluffy, subtle spicy scenarios, soft Ao’nung, them being couple goals, just some cute hc’s
- The group = the Sully kids, Ao’nung, Tsireya and Rotxo
Author’s Note: Thank you for requesting, I had a lot of fun writing this because I love soft Ao’nung! I hope it fulfills your expectations and that you enjoy!
- I loved making these hc’s so feel free to request them!
Word Count: 712
Glossary: syulang - flower || tawtute - human
Extra: Requests are open! Please read rules before requesting! || Likes, comments, and reblogs are highly appreciated🩷!

❖ — When Ao’nung saw you for the first time, he held a dislike for you because you were a “demon”. After everything his mother told him about the sky people, he assumed that you were the same. He was cold toward you in the beginning, but with a mix of your beauty and charming personality, he began to grow feelings for you and soon after, you both became a couple.
❖ — The first thing he noticed about you was your height. In his eyes, you were the height of a child, which always caused him to crack some type of joke that you didn’t find funny or amusing.
“You are so little, I could literally crush you.”
“How are you and Tuk almost the same height?!”
❖ — He thought your height was an advantage for some things and one of them was ‘spicy time’.
“You are eye level with my waist, that will come in handy when you suck my-” Your eyes widen at his comment and you hit him in the chest, forcing him to not finish his sentence. “Shut up, skxawng! That’s all you think about!”
❖ — Whenever you and the group hang out, somehow his arm always manages to rest on your head. He saw you as his “personal armrest” and he took advantage anytime both of you were standing next to each other. You always tell him that he’s being annoying, but deep down you love him being comfortable with you in that aspect.
❖ — When both of you talked, you always had to look up to him, which gets aggravating at times when your neck starts to hurt. Ao’nung noticed this, so sometimes when both of you talk, he’d sit down and let you stand so both of you will be at eye level.
❖ — Walking around the village would be tiring for you at times especially since everyone around you had bodies more equipped for the environment. Whenever you began to lag behind, Ao’nung became your mode of transportation.
“Do you want me to carry you the rest of the way?”
Ao’nung would let you get on his back and he would take you wherever the destination was, which you appreciated because you didn’t know how much longer you were going to last.
❖ — When he started teaching you the way of water, you were eager, but it was hard for you, being human in a Na’vi environment wasn’t easy. Whenever you were having doubts or he heard you mumble about giving up, he was right there encouraging you (sometimes with spicy incentives).
“You got this, syulang! I’m right here with you.”
“If you hold your breath a little longer this time, when we finish our lesson, I’ll take you to my marui and do that thing you like.” He ends his sentence in a singsong tone and a small smirk on his face knowing that his words would motivate you.
After he said that, you held your breath twice the time you did before. Ao’nung was so proud of you that he couldn’t wait to take you home. He carried you into a secluded area of the jungle and happily rewarded you for breaking your record.
❖ — Whenever you and him held hands he made sure not to squeeze your hand too tight because he didn’t want to crush you. He always made sure to treat you delicately because he knew how fragile humans were to Na’vi.
“Ao’nung, can you give me a real hug? I haven’t seen you all day.”
“I don’t wanna squeeze you too tight or I’ll hurt you.”
❖ — Whenever you spend the night in his marui, both of you would cuddle together and you would have the best time being the little spoon. Feeling his big arms curled around your small waist, burying your head in his broad chest, him every so often giving your skin a soft kiss made you want to melt instantly. Him being so affectionate and gentle with you was hands down one of the things you loved most.
❖ — He loves you and your human body and wouldn’t trade you for anyone on Pandora. The only person he wants is you. You were his precious tawtute and he loved you with every fiber in his body.
I hope you enjoyed🩷!

Author’s Note: Thank you so much for 2000 followers, that’s crazy :’) I love you guys, honestly.
Synopsis: The story of how it all started. Neteyam comes to confess his feelings for you, but accidentally walks in on you using a vibrator.
Intro:
Too young to be put in a Cryo chamber and sent back to Earth, you were raised by the scientists who remain loyal to the na’vi after the war with Quaritch. Despite growing up in a lab, you spent most of your childhood with your friends – Neteyam, Lo’ak, Kiri, and Tuk. You formed all your best childhood memories and milestones alongside them. They taught you the na’vi language, and their way of life. You did your best to keep up with them, although it proved hard in your human body.
They were always faster and stronger, not to mention bigger. Despite being the same age as them they would always tower over you, almost double your height and width. Regardless, you were determined to live the life of a na’vi, even with your tiny, frail body.
Having this exopack was bothersome, constantly getting in your way and needing to be recharged and cleaned. But it allowed you to be closer to your people, to your secret love – Neteyam. His family always saw you as the ‘lab kid’, especially his mother. Neytiri always insisted that you go back to your people when you came around to visit.
Neteyam was always quick to defend you, standing up against his own parents – something that he rarely did. He never made you feel left out, pacing himself to ensure you’d never get left behind, being extra gentle during games and always making sure to carry a backup battery for your exopack. He knew how careless you were in keeping it charged. He would even steal extra of your favourite sweets from the lab when you had your monthly cycle. You’d always had a crush on him since you were kids, but when you both got into your late-teens things became... different.
He grew much, much taller than you, always towering over you. His muscles filled out, becoming more defined as he went through the rites of passages to become a man – to become a warrior. Whilst your chest became fuller, hips wider and waist curvier. At times, you’d catch him staring at you, lingering his gaze on your chest or pelvis, burning holes through your shorts. It’d make butterflies flutter in your stomach, giving you hope that maybe he saw you in the same way that you saw him.
You spent most nights with your hand shoved down your pyjama pants, humping your fingers to your lewd thoughts of Neteyam without his loincloth on. Oh, the things you’d do just to see what he really looked like underneath. You wanted nothing more than for him to be the one touching you, to make you feel good. At times you’d try to be bold, and make a move, holding a single finger or brushing your chest against his thigh. But he never caught on, or so it seemed.
Under the immense pressure of his parents, he couldn’t spend nearly as much time as he used to with you, but you understood and never complained. You filled your time with Kiri, becoming her best friend. She taught you everything about the flora and fauna of Pandora, and made you want to become a healer one day if you could ever get an avatar of your own.
You wanted nothing more. Well, that was a lie. You wanted Neteyam more than anything on Pandora, but you’d go to great lengths to have your own avatar – to be able to become a true na’vi. Norm and Max always teased you about you getting your own avatar when you were old enough, but you never believed them, you knew how expensive they were to create.
You had no other choice but to accept your fate as the human girl who longed for a na’vi boy, and his na’vi way of life.
Unbeknownst to you, Neteyam felt similarly from the moment he lay eyes on you. He always felt a strong need to protect his tiny, frail human. He hated nothing more than when others picked on you, and made you feel less than all because of how you looked. He never cared about any of that, you were the kindest and most adorable girl he knew. You were a treasure to be cherished – to be protected at all costs.
He knew never to act on his feelings, though. Given the whole different species thing, he quickly accepted his fate as the son of Olo’eyktan who longed for a sky person. He knew it would never be able to work, in any regard. He felt like he’d break you if he touched you. But now that he’s become a man, the desire to touch you has only grown stronger.
The moments between you and him have become tense, and awkward. He’d keep a good distance between the two of you, yet he’d never take his eyes off you, always ensuring your safety. And in those moments – those rare moments – that the two of you were alone, the tension was off the charts. To the point where Neteyam started distancing himself from you even more, picking up more training sessions with his father and going on longer hunting trips.
It hurt you. To see the man you cared for so deeply never make the time to be around you anymore. You often confided in Kiri about this, as she was the only person who knew about your true feelings for him. She always encouraged you to be honest and open with her brother, convincing you that he had similar feelings. Even though you wanted to believe her, you couldn’t bring yourself to because of how distant and cold Neteyam had been.
----
“Is Neteyam coming?” you ask Kiri, watching her hook the mask around her neck.
“No, he’s on a hunting trip with dad. Sorry, y/n.” Kiri purses her lips before taking a swig of air.
“That’s okay. I understand that he’s busy.” you shrug your shoulder, trying to act like it didn’t bother you that he was always caught up with something.
She rests a hand on your shoulder, reassuring you that it’s nothing personal, even though she knew it was. “Don’t worry about it. He’ll come around soon, y/n.”
You nod, keeping your gaze fixed on your feet as you both make your way deeper into the lab. Lo’ak and Tuk follow behind Kiri, gearing up with their masks too. Kiri came to see her mom, Grace, and Lo’ak usually just tagged along to bother Max and Norm. Tuk never wants to be left out, following closely behind her siblings everywhere they go.
You were excited, hoping to see Neteyam so you could finally talk to him about how you felt. But he flaked yet again, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
“Hey mom.” Kiri hums, climbing on top of her mother’s tank, admiring her floating body.
Lo’ak and Tuk make their way over to Norm and Max, trying to convince them to reveal some top-secret information about what they have in development. “C’mon Norm, don’t be a wuss. Show us!” Lo’ak grins, giving norm a playful shove, moving him a great distance, unaware of his own strength. “...sorry, Norm.”
You find yourself thinking about Neteyam again, watching Norm’s small frame next to Lo’ak, and how you look just like that next to him. Huffing out a sigh, you look around at your friends and realize that you’re alone. Everyone’s got someone, except you. You could walk away, and no one would even notice.
So, you do.
Unable to deny the way you feel, as tears well in your eyes and your chest burns hot, you shuffle away quickly to your room at the end of the hallway in the lab.
Really y/n? Crying again? You scold yourself for being so sensitive.
Neteyam will never want me if I’m this soft. You blink rapidly, clearing the tears from your eyes as you turn the knob on your door.
You were so deep in thought that you didn’t even realise you’ve walked into a completely different room. Looking around, you realise that you’re in Trudy’s room, not yours. It’s been untouched since the war; Norm couldn’t bring himself to step foot into her room, much less go through her belongings.
Being here gives you an eerie feeling, right in the pit of your stomach. Just as you were about to turn around and back out, you notice a black, open duffle bag on her bed. Inside it is some sort of object, bright and pink, in some sort of packing with a big red ‘XXX’ on it. It’s hard to miss. As much as you wanted to back out of the room, you find yourself closing the door behind you before making your way over to the bag.
Curiosity got the best of you, making you take it out of the bag to inspect it further. Still brand new in its plastic packaging, the object is slightly bent, with some weird looking rubbery bits that rib around it.
‘Thrusting Rabbit Vibrator – Adult Toy’.
You’ve never seen one in person, only hearing about it on shows you watched that aired in the early 2000’s. It’s... a sex toy – a vibrator to be exact. You flip it over, searching for the instructions.
‘Insert, turn on, and enjoy.’
Seems simple enough. The desire to open it, to know what it feels like grows stronger. You nibble at your bottom lip, trying to talk yourself out of your ludicrous urges. Your heart quickens, thumping violently against your ribcage. Deep down, you know what you’re doing is wrong, invading Trudy’s personal space like this, even worse that she wasn’t here to defend her space.
The sound of a doorknob rattling makes your whole body jolt. You gasp quietly, turning around and hiding the toy behind your back. Norm opens the door, jaw clenched, clearly uncomfortable to be looking in his late girlfriend’s quarters. He scans you up and down, a confused look washing over his face.
“y/n? Why are you in... Trudy’s room?” he asks, not wanting to say her name.
“Sorry. I – I didn’t even realise I came in here. I was going to my room...” you babble nervously, realising that you’ll have to reveal more to make it believable, “...I – uh, felt left out, and I was too caught up in my head. Sorry, Norm. I was about to leave.” you apologize again, knowing this room is off limits.
“It’s alright, kid. Sorry if I sounded upset.” He says, expression softening.
You laugh a little to lighten the mood. “Not a kid anymore, Norm.” you shoot him a smile before shuffling out beside him, walking backwards so he doesn’t see the toy behind your back.
“My bad, y/n.” He closes the door, locking it with his key. He turns around, to see you shuffling away.
“Hey. If you ever need someone to talk to, I’m here. Alright?” he projects his voice as you walk swiftly away, heart thumping in your chest.
You quickly shift the toy to your chest as you spin around and raise a hand in the air. “Alright, Norm! Thanks!”
----
You sit on your bed, staring at the bright pink object sitting on your table, already plotting how exactly you’re going to return this thing. It’s going to be difficult, seeing that he locked the door. It would have to involve some sort of conniving plan to steal his keys whilst he’s sleeping, or something. It honestly seemed like too much, for something so... useless to him.
It wouldn’t even matter right? He’s not going to use it... Would he even realize that it’s missing? You wonder, knowing he’ll probably never step foot in that room again.
You won’t lie, a part of you wanted to know what it feels like. Not only that, but this is probably the only time in your existence that you’d have your hands on such a thing. You’d never ever been able to make yourself climax before, even to your lewd thoughts of Neteyam.
Maybe this would do the trick?
It dawns on you that all you’re doing is trying to convince yourself to use the damn thing. You stand up let loose a loud huff, frustrated with yourself. You pace back and forth in your room, burning a line into the floor with your feet, looking back at the stupid little toy every so often.
You stop dead in your tracks.
“Fuck it.” you mumble, rushing over to the table to rip open the packaging.
Finally releasing the toy from its plastic-y restraints, you bring it close to your face to examine it.
“Whoa.” you mutter, looking at all of the little nubs and ridges on the tip of it, whilst the rest of it is like a smooth silicone.
Grabbing the packaging, you fumble with it a bit before flipping it over once again to read the instructions some more.
‘Clean before and after use. Charge before use. Waterproof. Use on clit or insert inside.’
You make your way over to the bathroom and wash it with soap and water before putting it to charge. Meanwhile, you take a quick shower, thinking about Neteyam the entire time to get you in the mood.
----
“Is she upset with me?” Neteyam asks Kiri, concerned that he’s ultimately ruined the friendship.
“No... I don’t know, Nete. Maybe? She can tell that you’re avoiding her at this point. Just. Go and talk to her, okay?” Kiri encourages her brother.
“Talk to her? And say what? I know we are a different species, but I have feelings for you?” he narrows his eyes, shaking his head slightly.
“Yeah. Actually. Exactly that.” Kiri says, scoffing and nodding her head.
“Really?” Neteyam looks at her with a blank stare.
“Yes, really. Just go.” Kiri pushes him out of the tent. “She didn’t even tell us she was leaving... Tell her that I’m sorry, too.”
“Agh. Alright.” Neteyam walks willingly out of the tent, making his way to the lab, eclipse in full throttle.
----
You brush and braid your hair, keeping it out of your face whilst you brush your teeth. Instead of getting into your pyjamas, you opt to stay wrapped in your towel, seeing that you were going to get naked anyways.
“Let’s do this.” you try psyching yourself up, making your way over to the charging object.
You unplug it and fidget with the button. Pressing the button, it immediately lights up and starts vibrating, making a loud buzzing noise. Startled, you quickly press the button once more, turning it off and throwing it on the bed.
Heart thumping viciously in your chest, you feel the flesh between your legs begin to pulse. All sorts of emotions were coursing through you all at once – anxiety, arousal, guilt. You decide that you need to get in the right head space to do this.
You unwrap your towel, resting it on the end of your bed. Crawling on the bed, you get comfortable, propping up your back against stacked pillows and spreading your legs. The cool, crisp air blows against your naked body, making your nipples hard and body shiver.
You reach for the vibrator, allowing it to brush against your inner thigh before placing it on the softness of your plump lips. Closing your eyes, you imagine Neteyam, standing in front of you with nothing but his loincloth on. His stripes are so prominent, much like his jawline and chiselled torso. His muscular chest stood strong, just like his thick biceps and brawny core.
Waist, lean yet robust, back, broad and sturdy – he was everything a girl could dream of. Nothing less than that of a mighty warrior. You feel your clit jump at the mere thought of his torso. As you make your way down his body you chew on your bottom lip, biting back a soft moan.
Breath becoming raggedy, you press the button with a shaky finger, jolting when the overpowering vibration touches your clit. You imagine his lower half – his thick, muscular, toned thighs, coated in a thin layer of sheen from sweat. Feeling yourself heat up from your lewd thoughts, you press the humming vibrator against your clit, trying to find a good spot.
Squeezing your eyes even tighter, you melt into the sheer power of this toy, relaxing your tensed leg muscles. You make your way in between his thighs and imagine his prominent v-lines, that have scant, dark hair – musky with his natural scent – peaking over the band of his loincloth.
Chest rising and falling from your heavy pants, your leg muscles tense again as that familiar hot feeling pools in your chest – you’re getting close. You wet your lips with a quick swipe of your tongue, before parting them to allow little, soft moans to evade your mouth. You find your hips chasing your orgasm, bucking slightly against the length of the toy as you coat it in a thin layer of your wetness.
Working your way to his most vulnerable area, you imagine him hooking his thumbs underneath the band of his loincloth, gently tugging it down his hips. The more he tugs at the thin cloth, the more the thick, blue base of his cock is revealed. Your brows pinch at the sight, you wanted to know what it felt like, if you could even hold it with one hand.
The image of him brings you closer and closer, the heat pooling in your chest overflowing into the rest of your body, forming knots in the pit of your stomach. You always had a hard time with this stage, never getting past it – never making yourself cum.
“Oh, Nete!” you moan, “Make me cum, please.” You quiet down to a whisper, gritting your teeth as you arch your back.
He tugs the material down to his upper thighs, exposing the little dark blue stripes on his thick, veiny member.
“F-fuck!” you squeak, your head sinking deeper into your pillow as your toes dig into the softness of the bed.
He slips the loincloth down to his knees, revealing his throbbing, veiny cock, letting it slap against his belly, leaving a little wet spot as evidence. It’s so heavy, that even though he’s rock-hard, it rests, sheathed and hung, against his thigh.
----
“Thanks, Norm. I apologize again, for coming so late. I just... really need to make it up to her.” Neteyam bows his head quickly, thankful that he let him in the lab after hours.
“Don’t sweat it. She told me earlier she was feeling a little down. Just let yourself out when you’re finished talking, cool?” Norm responds, having more trust in Neteyam than the rest of them.
“I will.” Neteyam says, crouching slightly to make his way down the hallway to your door.
He looks at your door, reading the weird figures above the peep hole, ‘34’.
Three – four, that is hers, yes?
“Oh, Nete!” he hears your faint, muffled cry.
His ears perk up, heartbeat raising.
Why is she calling for me? Is she okay?
“F-fuck!” he hears your soft groan, hushed by some sort of whirring noise.
Oh shit. She sounds like she’s in pain. Maybe cramps?
Neteyam wastes not another second and bursts the door open, ready to help you in any way that he could. Instead, he’s met with the sight of you on the bed – naked – touching yourself.
----
You can’t hear the doorknob rattle over the buzz of your toy, and even if you could, you were too focused on trying to experience your first orgasm. It feels so good, it really felt like you were about to explode. Your breaths become shallow, and quick as you climb and climb towards your peak. All you can focus on, is Neteyam coming closer and closer to you, cock swinging at each step.
“Holy shit.” Neteyam breathes, chest rising and falling quickly, heart thumping violently in his chest. Eyes wide, brows raised, and mouth open, he watches you for a second too long, unable to take his eyes off the carnal sight in front of him.
“Shit.” You gasp, body practically curling up into a ball as you and yank the towel over your body and the toy. “What are you doing here?!” you shout at him, wrapping the towel around you properly as you shuffle your back against the wall.
He immediately drops his gaze, blinking repeatedly as he turns away from you, resting both hands on his forehead. “I am so sorry, y/n. I – I should have knocked. I’m sorry, I was just... coming to talk to you about something.” He babbles, gulping down a wad of his spit.
“About what?! So late?!” you shout, cheeks stained red from embarrassment.
You caught a quick glimpse of the bulge in his loincloth before he turned around. Your heart is thumping even faster, even harder. You just moaned his name.
Shit. Shit. Did he hear me moan his name? Fuck. How long has he been here?
“I’m sorry I upset you. Really. I-it can wait. I will be going now. I am so sorry, y/n.” he apologizes through raggedy breaths, feeling his own arousal.
He quickly leaves the room, closing the door tightly behind him, feeling like he just invaded your privacy – big time. He takes a deep breath, trying to steady his heart before walking away. You do the same, taking deep breaths to calm down and figure out what the fuck just happened.
Your hand rests on your chest, feeling the thud of your vicious heartbeats. He does the same, hand on his chest, leaning back against the door as he tries to catch his breath. He wants nothing more than to just go back in the room and tell you how he feels, especially now that he knows you think about him when you touch yourself.
It’s the same for you, wanting so badly for him to just burst back in your room, and confess his undying love for you. But you knew that was too far-fetched, to have the eldest son of Olo’eyktan love a simple human girl like you.
Then, why was he... hard?
You stare at the door, waiting to see if it’d open once more. Neteyam’s on the other side, debating with himself whether he should go back in there and come clean. Shaking his head, he attempts to snap out of his deep thoughts – you were naked, and obviously in the middle of something intimate. If he went back in there that’s just him invading your privacy even more. Deciding against staying, he starts making his way down the hallway.
He makes it halfway down the hallway before he stops dead in his tracks, ears perking up and expression softening.
But she said my name, right? He thinks, turning his head to look back on the ‘34’ on your door.
“Agh.” He growls, snapping his head back down to look at his feet. “Fuck it.” he turns around, storming to the door once more.
Surely, if he came all this way, at this time of night to talk to you, then it must be important. Perhaps, important enough to involve his feelings about you? Either way, it’s gone too far now. You may as well come clean yourself.
Making your way over to your door, you reach out to grab the doorknob, only to see it turn on its own. The door swings open, a gust of air blowing the loose stands of hair out of your face. Where the knob once was, is now where Neteyam’s loincloth rests, almost bursting at its seams.
Directly in your line of sight is his cross shaped ribcage, brutally rising and falling from his heavy pants. Your eyes work their way up his torso, past his muscular chest and carved collarbones, to the stripes on his neck and the flush of his cheeks. Your eyes lock with his amber eyes, searching once another in the silence.
He came back.
She was coming to get me.
You smile in unison, coming to the same realization – there was something deeper going on here.
“Hi.” You breathe.
“Hey.” He whispers.
“You wanted to talk?” you ask, hand tightly grasping the overlap of your towel.
“Yes.” He glances quickly at you gripping onto your towel, before looking away from your chest all together. He wants to be a gentleman about this. “Do you want to talk?”
“Yes.” You say shyly, also noticing his shy demeanour.
He looks back down at you, scanning your facial expression to ensure you were being serious. He crouches under the doorframe and enters your room, walking over to the bed.
Your eyes follow his every move, his every step. “You can sit.” You say quietly, finally shifting your gaze to your feet. “What did you want to talk about?”
He seats himself at the end of your bed, elbows resting on his knees and head hanging low. “I wanted to tell you something, y/n. To tell you my true feelings.”
You heart quickens once more, hearing the words you’ve been dreaming to hear. Now that he’s sitting on your bed, you’re face to face. You take slow steps towards him, standing directly in front of him.
“And what might those be, Nete?” you ask, using two dainty fingers under his chin to have him look at you.
He stares deeply into your eyes, furrowing his brows slightly as a puzzled look grows on his face.
How do I even say this?
“I – I...” he stutters, relaxing his brows and swallowing his spit, “Oel ngati kameie” [I see you]. he confesses, cupping your hand on his chin with his.
You can’t fight the smile creeping on your face. Not only did he confess his romantic feelings for you, but he did it in na’vi. He sees you, not as a little human girl stuck on his planet, but as his equal – his mate.
“Oel ngati kameie, ‘teyam.” You repeat his words, letting him know you feel the same way.
A grin plasters his face, causing his ears to perk up. He pulls you in closer by the hand, situating your tiny frame in between his meaty thighs.
“I have felt this way for some time, y/n.” he continues, inches away from your face, “Since we were kids, playing hide and seek in the trees...” he looks down at your lips, “...since I first lay eyes on you.”
Staring at his lips too, you nod, unable to respond with words.
“I do not care, if we do not ‘work’ together... I cannot ignore my feelings for you anymore.” he places your hand against his warm chest, as he inches even closer to your face. “Feel it... My heart, it beats for you.”
Feeling his heartbeat against your palm, you wrap your dainty fingers around his thumb, gently tugging down your towel with your other hand to expose your cleavage. Inhaling sharply, you place his hand flat against your chest.
“Mine too, Nete.” You finally whisper under your breath. “I-I feel the same. At first sight.” You mumble, now feeling his hot, short breaths against your lips.
Inexperienced lips crash into yours, hungry and eager for your reciprocation. You kiss him fervently, waiting for this moment for practically your entire existence. Bodies pressing together, feeling the warmth radiating from one another’s skin, you fumble with the knot of your towel. A hand stops you, keeping you from untying the loosely wrapped material around your body, he shakes his head side to side.
“Are you sure?” he breathes into your mouth between wet kisses. “I did not...” he kisses you again, “...come back for that, my love”.
“Mhm” you mumble into his mouth, moving his hand away to fiddle with the woven part of your towel once more. You stop and pull away suddenly, coming to the realization that maybe he doesn’t want this. “Do you...want this?” you whisper, resting your forehead against his.
He chuckles breathily, smiling wide before pulling you back in to kiss you again. “How could I not?” he mumbles between sloppy kisses.
Smiling into his mouth, your teeth click together as you feel the pink tinge on your cheeks turn even brighter – even hotter. Breaths heavy and uneven, you feel the thud of your collective heartbeat as you allow your towel fall to the ground. Immediately, he pulls away, looking up and down at your human body.
“Yuey [beautiful]” he says out of breath, mesmerized by the curves and softness of your body.
Allowing his eyes to linger at your chest, he looks up at you briefly, silently asking for your consent to touch your breasts. You nod, pulling his hand up to the soft flesh on your chest before meeting your lips with his once more. His hand completely envelopes your breast, kneading it as gently as he can. His thumb brushes past your hard nipple, playing with it ever so slightly.
Having someone else touch you in this way makes your body shudder. It’s your first time, your first kiss, your first – everything.
A warm tongue presses against your lips, asking for permission to enter your mouth. You grant it, parting your lips and meeting your tongue with his, allowing them to dance with one another in your mouth.
His movements become eager – more impatient. He kneads your breast a little rougher, now gently rolling your small nipple between his calloused fingers. Your body jolts from the sudden pleasure, and a soft moan escapes your mouth into his.
“Feels good, yes?” he returns a moan, making sure you’re okay.
“Yes, teyam.” You nod, moving his hand to your other breast.
Repeating his movements, he gently rolls your nipple whilst kneading your breast. It feels so good, that you can’t help but pant into his mouth, allowing your hands to feel his chest, too.
It’s just as you imagined, his chest is hard yet soft, his skin smooth yet rough, like that of a warrior. Both your hands could fit comfortably on just one of his pecks – his size in comparison to you was no joke. You feel his hand snake around your waist and up your back, calloused fingers taking in the suppleness of your skin.
“So soft” he mumbles, moving his gentle kisses down your neck.
“You, too” you mumble back, moving your hands up to his broad shoulders.
“Not nearly as soft as you, my sevin [pretty].” he smiles into your neck, before planting kisses down to your chest. “May I?” he asks, brushing his lips against your breast.
“Yes. Always yes.” you reassure him, willing to let him do anything he wants to you.
He takes your nipple into his mouth, as well as most of your breast. He suckles as gently as he can, afraid he may nip you with his fangs. Your hands slide from his shoulders, up his neck to his head, where your fingers intertwine with his braids. Using it as leverage, you press him closer into your chest, letting him know he’s making you feel good.
To your surprise, he allows his hands to fall to your hips, pulling you on top of him. It causes him to unlatch from your breast, moving his wet lips up to your collarbones. Your bare pussy is pressed against his bulge, dampening the material that covers it.
“Neteyam” you call for him quietly, feeling so good from his soothing touches.
“Yes, my love?” he responds, pulling away from your shoulders to look in your eyes.
“Can I see... you, too?” you ask shyly, breaking eye contact to glance at his soddened loincloth.
His eyes follow yours, seeing that the thin cloth is soaked. Shooting his gaze back up yours.
“You’re so wet.” he whispers, so enthralled with you that he forgets what you asked of him. He looks at your reddened face, realizing that you’re waiting for his response. “Sorry. What did you say?”
“I want to see you, too.” you repeat, dropping your hands to tug at the band of his loincloth.
Smiling, he leans back, supporting his torso with his arms behind him on the bed. You trail your eyes down from his face to his pelvis, seeing the small knot at the side of his loincloth. Fumbling with the knot, your shaky hands try their best to untie the material. He notices, resting his hand over yours before untying it himself.
“No need to be nervous, y/n. We will not do anything you are not ready for, okay?” he reassures you, untying the knot easily.
“Okay.” you nod, scooting back on his lap to make space for his loincloth to come off.
You slowly move the band down, exposing his deep v-lines and scant hair. You swallow your spit before taking it off completely, revealing his huge, thick cock. Your eyes bulge at the sight, eyebrows raising slightly as your mouth opens wide enough for a sharp breath of air to pass through your lips.
“Oh shit.” You pant quietly, surprised because it’s much bigger than you imagined.
The tip of his cock touches the middle of his thigh, the length and thickness of your forearm. Panicked eyes meet his, scared that he’d rip you in two.
“What is it?” he asks, concerned that you’re uncomfortable.
“It’s – you’re, y-you are too big for me.” your lips tremble as the words slip out.
His brows draw together, eyes squinting slightly – a puzzled expression contorts his face. He cups your cheek, searching your eyes for some sort of clarification. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t think – uh. I-I don’t think that will fit inside of me, Nete.” you stutter, feeling too shy to say the words.
Neteyam can’t help but laugh a little. “Ma’ yawne [beloved]...” he uses his thumb to rub your cheek, “...you need not to worry about that. I do not want to do anything that will hurt you.”
The words bring serenity to your chest, making the uneven thud of your heartbeat rhythmic. As much as you want to share that level of intimacy with him, you’ve only been able to fit two of your own fingers inside of you. You lean into his touch, rubbing your face against his palm as a smile plasters your face.
Always so protective over you.
Turns out, he was only half-hard. You watch in awe as his member grows, lifting from his thigh to his belly, all on its own. Neteyam looks away to hide his flushed cheeks. You notice and take this as your sign to touch him for the first time. Wrapping your slim fingers around his girth, you find that your fingertips can’t touch each other. His pelvis shifts suddenly from the warmth of your touch.
“Am I making the mighty warrior blush?” you hum, wrapping your other hand around the base of his cock.
His eyes fall onto his crotch, watching as your hands stroke his shaft. He looks back up at you, directly into your eyes.
“Maybe.” his voice is low, and deep.
You never thought you’d even be in this position, stroking the cock of the man of your dreams. Even worse, him staring at you with sultry eyes and a husky voice, telling you that you’re making him nervous.
“Can I touch you, here?” he asks, sitting up fully and resting his hand on your inner thigh.
“Didn’t I say ‘yes, always yes’?” you smile at him, shifting your hips to allow for better access.
Wrapping one arm around his neck, you hold onto him tightly for support as his hand cups your pussy, making you gasp quickly. You feel his finger part your wet lips, searching for the bundle of nerves at the top of your slit. You bury your face into the crook of his neck just as he finds your clit, rubbing circles into it with his slick coated finger.
Hot, quick pants evade your parted lips, blowing directly onto his neck. His lips plant kisses on your shoulder, tongue playing in the dip of your collarbone. You stroke his cock one handed, trying your hardest to provide enough friction for him to feel good too.
“Is this, okay?” he asks breathlessly, moving his finger down to your entrance.
“Yes, my ‘teyam.” you mumble into his neck, bracing yourself for his thick finger to enter you.
“Let me know if it hurts, my love.” he whispers, slowly sliding his finger inside of you.
“Oh! Ugh.” A strained moan is muffled in his neck, as you feel this finger stretch you out.
You shift your hand from his cock and wrap it around his neck, holding on as tightly as you can. His singular finger easily feels like two of yours, not to mention the fact that they’re much lengthier.
“Does it hurt?” he whispers into your ear.
“No. I’m okay, teyam.” you mumble, closing your eyes to focus on the feeling.
“Good. I am going to move now.” he warns, curling his finger directly into your sweet spot.
You gasp loudly, feeling the pressure already build in your bladder. It feels amazing – better than you’ve ever felt with your own fingers. Your hips buck on their own, grinding into the finger that impales you.
Little, sweet mewls escape your open mouth, beads of saliva dripping onto his chest. You’re so focused on the way he’s making you feel you didn’t even realise the volume of your whines and whimpers until he makes a comment about it.
“I like your little noises, y/n.” he says, pumping his finger in and out of you. “Are you... close?”
“I – I don’t know, I’ve never, c-cum before.” Your breath hitches, feeling your chest and stomach tighten.
Your legs begin to tremble, like they’ll give out underneath you at any moment. “Oh, Nete!” you moan his name, catching a glimpse of his ears perking up from the sound of his name rolling off your tongue.
His hips buck, too, thrusting his cock against your stomach. He’s losing it, all from hearing the sweet sounds that come from your mouth. Pulling away from his neck, you look down at his glossy cockhead poking at your stomach, then back up to look into his amber eyes.
“This is where you’d be... inside me.” you breathe, shifting a hand off his neck to press a finger under your sternum, where his tip touches.
“Whoa. Y-you are so, so tiny, y/n. I’m so scared that I will hurt you.” Neteyam confesses, rutting his hips against you.
“You won’t. I trust you, teyam.” you pant, feeling your legs wobble.
Your heads bump together, as your now both grinding into one another. He feels your weak legs shake and snakes his free hand around your back, supporting it as he lays you down on the bed.
He catches sight of the bright pink toy near your head, eyes widening.
“What is that? Where did you get it from?” he asks, still fingering you.
“Ah... haah, I – I kind of found it.” you pant raggedly, “Ngh! It’s a – oh fuck!” you moan, feeling a new sensation in your pelvis grow.
“It’s a ‘oh fuck’?” Neteyam chuckles, picking up speed.
“Neteyam! That feels weird.” You moan, eyes pooling with water from how good it feels.
“Weird, bad? Or weird, good?” he asks, slowing down his pace.
“Good! Good!” you shout, not wanting him to stop.
“Ah. Good.” He smiles, picking back up the speed, “Now, what is that thing?”
“It’s – it’s a vibrator! Fuck. Don’t stop, Nete.” you whisper desperately, arching your back against the bed. “I think – I think I’m close!” you let loose a strained moan.
“I want to taste it. Can I taste you?” he asks, already making his way in between your legs.
“O-okay teyam” you whine quietly, spreading your legs as wide as they can go.
His hot mouth engulfs your throbbing clit, the flat of his tongue shifting from side to side. “Good?” he mumbles into your slit.
“Mmmn! Fuck, yes!” you moan loudly, bucking your hips into his face.
He grabs your hand and places it on his head, you weave your fingers through his braids.
“Another... another finger!” you beg, feeling the knots in your stomach quickly unravel.
He shakes his head side to side, “’til hurt” he mumbles once more, picking up the speed of both his tongue and finger.
“Please! ‘m gonna cum, Nete!” you plead, toes curling into the sheet beneath you.
He gently slides another digit inside you, feeling the tightness of your cunt clenching around it. You yelp out, feeling a hint of pain among the waves of pleasure that crash through you. He pulls his finger back out, lifting his head up, causing your hand to fall from his head.
“See? I told you. I hurt you, didn’t I?” he asks through knitted brows, looking down at your glistening cunt sucking in his finger.
“Only a little, I’m fine teyam.” you reassure him, wiggling your hips back down onto his finger.
He clicks his tongue, catching a glimpse of the vibrator.
“Let us try this... vee-bray-tor?” he says the word slowly, as he reaches for the pink object beside your head.
He presses the button causing the thing to vibrate in his hand, shock plastering his face from the sensation of it buzzing against his skin. Your hips jolt as he presses the toy against your clit, sending shockwaves up your spine.
“Ohh, Neteyam!” you moan loudly, the feeling overwhelms you. “’ts too much...” your hips shift away from the toy, as you try to reach for his head once more.
He chuckles, switching the toy off and throwing it on the floor. “Prefer me?” he asks huskily, pinning down your leg as he leans in to suck on your clit once more.
“Mmmn, mhm!” you mumble, pushing your cunt into his face.
He closes his eyes, tuning in to the filthy noises that evade your mouth, drawing circles into your clit with the tip of his tongue. Neteyam touches himself, finally hearing the sounds that he’s been imagining every time he pleasured himself.
“Neteyam. I’m so fucking close.” you pant quickly.
He picks up the speed, now knowing where exactly feels good for you, and targets those sensitive areas. He rubs his own cock, beads of precum oozing from his tip lubricating his hand, allowing for fast strokes. He’s huffing hot breaths through his nose onto your lower stomach, giving you goosebumps.
“Holy fuck... R-right there” You let loose breathy moans, feeling the swell of your sweet spot pushing against his finger, as he curls it even harder and faster into you.
“Mmmhm” he moans into your clit, looking directly at you, encouraging you with his eyes to cum for him.
Bucking his hips into his hand, he feels his own orgasm quickly approaching. His brows tighten, feel his own knots unravel quickly in his stomach. He grunts into your cunt, finally squeezing his eyes shut as his thrusts become shorter.
You look between your legs, watching his aroused expression, now realizing that he’s pleasuring himself. It makes you feel even hotter – even hornier, sending you over the edge.
“Oh – oh shit, Neteyam! I think I’m – I’m cumming!” you cry out, shoving his face into your pussy.
You feel your cunt go into a frenzy, throbbing and pulsating feverishly around his finger.
His grunts turn into guttural groans, as he tries to concentrate on making you finish while his warm cum slowly pools into his hand. You push away his head, now feeling overstimulated from his relentless licks, for him to sit up quickly, grabbing his mask in a hurry to suck in a deep, long breath.
“You taste sweet, y/n.” he moans breathlessly, gently pulling his finger out of you. He sucks his finger, savouring the flavour of your slick.
Your cheeks heat up, feeling shy to see him taste you on his finger like that.
“That was... the first time.” you mumble wide eyed, breath hitching from you coming down from your high.
He smiles.
“I know. I’m happy I could do that for you, my love.” he projects his voice as he crouches under your bathroom doorframe.
He quickly cleans himself up so he can tend to you, coming back with a dampened cloth.
“Feeling okay?” he asks quietly, wiping the slick off your thighs, working his way up to the soft flesh between your legs.
“Yes, I’m... more than okay.” You hum softly, chest rising and falling as you try to take a full breath, feeling his tender, gentle touches as he cleans you up.
“Want to shower?” He questions, hanging the cloth against the back of your chair.
You shake your head weakly from side to side, puffy eyes blinking lethargically.
“What about clothes?” he makes his way over to your dresser, resting his hand on the top drawer’s handle, “tis a cold night.”
“Mm... rather you keep me warm.” you blabber, resting your eyes for a minute.
“My pleasure, yawne [beloved].” He smiles.
Tucking one hand under your neck, and the other under the back of your knees he lifts you up, moving you further up in your bed.
“Tired?” he chuckles softly, crawling into bed next to you.
“Mhmm.” You purr lengthily, trying to open your eyes as you scoot back onto him. “Don’t leave, Nete.”
“Alright, my love. I won’t. I will be right here. Get some rest.” He hums, pressing his warm naked body against yours.
He covers you with the blanket first, and then himself with whatever was remaining. He’s too tall for the blanket anyway, as well as the bed, honestly – he’s too tall for this whole place. Legs jutting off the end of the bed, he wraps his arm around you, pulling you even closer to him.
Heavy eyes finally closing, you snuggle into your love, gripping a single finger on the hand are rests on your stomach. He unhooks the mask from around his neck, and straps it to his face, so that he, too, can close his eyes and drift into a deep sleep.
----
Everyone was accepting of your relationship with Neteyam. Surprisingly, his parents were both expecting it at some point, and had already taken the time to come to terms with it – well, mostly Neytiri. Jake was always welcoming of you. Kiri and Lo’ak were happy you two finally hit things off. Everyone, including the members of the clan, could tell that you both had feelings for one another. Even Norm and Max were elated for the two of you, both knowing that there was something more going on between you guys. Norm knew that night would be the night for the both of you to make things official, which is why he granted Neteyam access afterhours.
One day, Norm and Max approach you and Neteyam in your room, knocking quietly on your already open door.
“Y/n. Neteyam.” they say monotonously in unison.
You both look at them, concern growing in your chest after seeing their serious expressions.
“What is it?” you manage to get out, holding Neteyam’s hand tightly, thinking something horrible has happened.
Their expressions soften, a smile creeping on both their faces before they burst out in laughter.
“Just joking with ya.” Max laughs, looking at Norm.
“Yeah. We come bearing good news, actually.” Norm adds, quickly glancing at Max before looking at you once more.
“Good news? What is it?” Neteyam asks, rubbing the back of your hand with his thumb, calming you down.
“Well, it’s not like you guys don’t already know. You can think of it as a ‘mating’ gift, ya know, seeing that na’vi don’t have weddings.” Max babbles, straying from the point.
“You’re getting your own avatar, y/n.” Norm announces happily, knowing that this is your biggest dream yet.
“What?! Are you serious?” you shriek, jumping to your feet, eyes flickering between the two of them.
Neteyam is still holding your hand tightly, now standing with you, wrapping his tail around your leg. Ever since you revealed your feelings to one another, Neteyam has rarely left your side, always making sure he’s near you – protecting you. You were his mate now, nothing less.
“Yep. She’ll be ready in about four months.” Max smiles, proud that he could pull the strings to get his favourite girl her own avatar.
“Oh, Max. Norm.” your voice cracks, tears welling up in your eyes. “Thank you, guys. I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate this.” You walk swiftly towards them to give them both a big hug.
Neteyam reluctantly lets go of your hand and leg, but follows closely behind you, towering over the two men. He wraps his tail around your leg once more, always needing to touch you in some way.
You hug them both, tippy toeing to squeeze their necks as hard as you can – to show how much you really appreciate what their doing for you.
“Thank you, Max, Norm.” Neteyam says, smiling and bowing his head at them both.
“Our pleasure, guys.” Max and Norm chant together. “C’mere Neteyam.” Norm smiles, pulling Neteyam into the hug.

You’ve been on pandora since you could remember you were born here along with Spider, but the difference was you were curious about life on earth both your parents were scientist and worked on making you an avatar to just survive around here and it was fully mature when you were the age of 12 even though you were 15 your parents wanted to run a few tests on it before you used it, so your mother gave you her music player that you could take with you anywhere.
It had many songs on it, and you would listen to it all the time. Lo'ak who was your best friend was interested in the music that would play.
Neytiri wasn't very happy about this let alone the fact Lo'ak was friends with you, but Jake brushed it off for he was also human at one point.
As a human girl you weren't that tall compared to the Na'vi only standing at 5'8 the same height at Tuk which you hated mainly because she was 8 years old, and you were 15 years old.
One morning you woke up and grabbed your music player from off the table and started listening to "kill bill" by SZA sining the song as you got dressed for the day unlike Spider you actually got somewhat dressed you walked out your room with your music player and headed outside saying good morning to your parents who were looking over things with your avatar "Heading out" you say as you walk pass them "Mask" your father yelled "Got it" you said as you grabbed the mask and put it on your face walking out the door.
you seen Spider running past you "Bet ill be you there first" you rolled your eyes "Unlike you im in no rush to get there" you say slightly annoyed he would even talk to you you started to ignore him which made him annoyed and just leave you alone.
—
Finally, after a few minutes you made it to where the Sully kids were Neteyam looked over and noticed you and smiled and walked up to you and hugged you "Hey Tey" you said smiling Lo'ak looked over hearing your voice and a sight pain hit his heart as he watched you hug Neteyam.
You walked over to him and sat next to him he pouted you rolled your eyes smiling "Oh my what is it this time" you crossed his arms and turned his head away from you kind of like a baby who doesn't get what they wanted "Im offended you hugged Neteyam before me" you looked at him with disbelief and started laughing "This is what its about," you continued to laugh he only glared at you "Lo'ak i apologize i hugged Tey before you even if he greeted me before you" you said sarcastically before hugging him dramatically before jumping up and turning to your group of friends "Who want to go swimming?" Everyone nodded and headed to the river.
—
it was starting to get late the sun was almost setting and you and kiri were talking on a rock about random things, and laughing while watching everyone play in the water you looked at Kiri and asked her “What would i do if i liked someone…you know more than a friend” she looked at you wide eyed.
—
Lo’ak had looked over at the sound of your laugh and only heard little bit of the conversation “What would i do if i liked someone… you know more than a friend” he didn’t know why but your words hurt him his energy was off the rest of the day and he just headed back home before it got to late and he didn’t tell you goodbye you weren’t the only on who noticed this Kiri noticed too.
—
You all went back to the mountains where the Na’vi stayed Kiri told Jake she would be walking you back home since it would eclipse “Bye Lo’ak, bye Neteyam” Neteyam waved bye but Lo’ak just ignored you making you stare at him in confusion.
As you and Kiri walked you were thinking about how Lo’ak was acting “What’s wrong?” you looked at her “I’m just thinking about how Lo’ak was acting back at home” you look away from her and at the path ahead of you both “Well, i mean Lo’ak likes you and we all know that you like him back and maybe he heard some of our conversation and took it as you liked someone else” you looked at her slightly guilty “I hope not…I would feel terrible.”
Kiri and you arrived at your home you turned to her and hugged her “Thanks for the talk love you bye” she smiled “No problem love you too bye” she waved as she walked back towards her home as you shut the door behind you.
Your parents looked at you with warm smiles but their expressions changed after seeing your face your mom was the first to speak “You okay baby?” you nodded and took the mask off hanging it up where it’s meant to and walked to your room.
Your parents were left there confused after a few minutes and getting ready for bed and everything you came back to your room and laid under the blankets just sitting alone with your thoughts until your bedroom door opened and you looked up.
“Oh hi momma” you sat up in your bed your back resting against the head board looking at her “What’s wrong?” “Noth-“ she cut you off before you could finish talking “And don’t say nothing your a shitty lier” you sighed “Tell me what happened”
You told her everything and for a moment it was quiet “Look here’s what i’d tell you to do talk him one on one, no friends, no eavesdroppers, just you and him then tell him about how you feel and shit” you laughed at her words “Maybe” “Love ya” “Love you too” she headed for the door and was about to close it then stopped turning around “Oh yea your avatars almost fully matured” you smiled “Hell yea.”
—
The next night you told Kiri about your plan and went and found Lo’ak dragging him along with you “Bro hurry up” he laughed at you sprinting ahead of him “Hey! don’t fall your mask might break” he said his voice full of worry as you ran, even if he’s not the one you like he couldn’t bring himself to stop caring for you.
You came to a stop at the top of a tree overlooking some of Pandora “Shit” Lo’ak said as he stopped almost running into you grabbing you by your shoulders to keep you both steady.
You laughed at his face but didn’t ignore the fact his energy was still off your turned away from him and sat down allowing your legs to hang off the tree edge, staring at the world in front of you the world looked as if it was almost fake, it was dark but the bioluminescence forest lit up the night, the moon hung over Pandora like a blanket, you could hear animals running around and making noises, and the air smelled like fresh grass and free soil the smell relaxed you.
You stared at the world in front of you. There was a comfortable silence between the both of you for sometime Lo’ak broke it with his voice to “So why’d you bring me out here” you looked at him having to think of your words “Well i want to tell you something I-“ Lo’ak cut you off “Y/n i’m happy for you really i’m glad you found someone” you looked at him confused “I’m sorry what,” you then started to laugh “your joking right, please tell me your joking.”
You noticed he was being serious, and your laughing stopped as you sighed and looked at him "Lo'ak who do you think i like?" He looked out at Pandora "Neteyam" you burst out laughing "Fuck no i do not like Neteyam" he looked at you shocked "What do you mean" you looked at him "Holy shit Lo’ak your slow are you gonna make me do something to get it threw your head.”
“What-“ before he could finish you kissed him Lo’ak’s eyes widened his heart rate increased he relaxed and melted into the kiss, the two of you broke apart you then hugged him just sitting there looking at pandora.
—
“Lo’ak” Neytiri was looking for her son because it was past eclipse the sight she saw was one she never wanted to see again her son was kissing the human girl she had never wanted around he eyes widened and she ran over to the two of you ripping you apart she hissed at you causing you to stand up and get as far away as you could “Mo-“ Neytiri looked at her son the anger in her eyes causing his words to get caught in his throat “I don’t want you around my son nor my family do i make myself clear” she said anger lacing her words you only nodded and headed back to your humble abode.
That night you laid in bed you couldn’t tell if you were mad or sad, you really didn’t feel anything besides the tears pooling down your face you were mainly just confused as to how Spider can still hangout with them even with all the shit going on between him and Kiri that’s what you were mad and sad because you no longer could you ended up just watching Nexflix on your tablet since your parents still had a connection from earth you could watch movies here so that what you did.
—
Lo’ak was angry at dinner Neytiri seemed to think she did a good job as a mother telling Y/n she didn’t want her around her kids she had yet to tell Jake of this Lo’am was to angry to be hungry.
Jake noticed “What’s wrong Lo’ak” all the anger that had built up exploded out of him “Mom told Y/n she doesn’t want her around me or any of us she thinks Y/n’s just like the other people, even though you were a human too the only difference was you went into your avatars body so i don’t fucking understand what the difference is between you and Y/n you had a avatar to put your soul in while Y/n doesn’t THATS the only fucking difference she’s still a human and so is dad with or without his Na’vi body and not even you,” Lo’ak pointed to his mom “can deny that you still choose to save him in his human form so before you say anything about Y/n think about how hypocritical your being!” with that he stood up and stomped out of the hut and grabbed his Ikran and flew away.
Jake looked at Neytiri a anger she’s never seen before in his eyes “Neteyam, Kiri take Tuk outside and do something i need to have a talk with your mother” they nodded and headed outside.
“What’s wrong with you” she looked offended “Me ?! Y/n’s kind killed my father, my sister, ruined my home, her and Lo’ak kissed and you ask me what wrong with me” Jake sighs “Me and her father are close He’s like my brother Y/n is like my niece and for you to just push her away and forbid her from seeing our children is bullshit, Tuk loves her like a sister, you have no right to do that Neytiri.”
—
Lo’ak flew to the lab you lived at and landed his Ikran and crept to your window he peaked inside the room seeing you laying there watching people moving on your screen he recalled you had called it ‘Netflix’ whatever that is he noticed your tear stained face, your red nose, and puffy eyes as if you’ve been crying your whole life made his ears press flat against his head and his his expression change to that of sadness, sadness because he knew it was his mom who said those hurtful things to you, sadness because he knew he couldn’t disobey his mom and be with a human.
Lo’ak hated that word human what was the point of that word honestly every human he’s seen looked the same besides skin color, hair color, hair texture, and gender but they all had hair, five fingers like himself, without tails, and weren’t blue, Na’vi have the same thing most are blue or some shade of blue, have four fingers, no hair besides their head and ends of their tails.
Lo’ak knew his dad was once human which is why he was angry when his mom yelled at you to never come back, means no more hanging out with him, no more making flower crowns with Tuk or telling her stories, no more making fun of Neteyam with him, no more annoying kiri, nothing at all just how it was before he met you, the thought made his sick to his stomach.
Ears still flat against his head and nervousness flooded his body and mind he hesitantly knocked on your window waiting for you to notice him, when you finally did you’re glum expression changed to one of happiness as you paused your show and climbed across your bed to the window to open it you had no idea why he went to your window when your parents always allow him over no matter the time but still you opened the window and allowed him to clime inside his tail bumping your vines and tabistrys hanging off your wall and ceiling.
“Lo’ak watch the tail” he looked confused then noticed he had pulled down a vine and was now wrapped around his tail you helped him get out of the vine before sitting back down in the bed and covering yourself up allowing your body to claim back its warmth.
Lo’ak sits on the edge of your bed not knowing where to start you just watch him waiting for him to do something as your waiting your mom walks in the room and stops before she’s all the way in “Lo’ak when’d you get here, why didn’t you just use the door?,” she laughs slightly “anyways Y/n your avatar will be read to be taken out next week” she said a large smile on her face and shut the door and walked back down the hall, which made you smile.
Lo’ak looked confused “What’s an avatar?” you laughed slightly “It’s my Na’vi body, that looks like me, it just has some human things to it like you” you said smiling before everything was quiet again.
“I’m sorry” you looked confused “for what?” his ears were now flat against his head while his face showed sadness “My mom…” you smiled sadly at him “It’s okay, you’ve got nothing to do with it, but you shouldn’t come around here anymore since i don’t want you to get into anymore trouble” you weren’t sure if it was possible but his ears laid even flatter against his head sad by what you said but he knew it was true.
“We can watch Netflix, listen to music before you go?” he smiled it made him happy you still wanted him around you just didn’t want to get him in trouble, the two of you cuddled the rest of the night watching a show until it was time for him to leave.
“Bye Lo’ak.”
—
It had been a year since the last time you or Lo’ak seen each other, you had somewhat gotten over the fact Neytiri had forbid you from seeing Lo’ak and the rest of them, you’ve gotten used to fact Neytiri forbid you from seeing Lo’ak and the rest of them, you’ve gotten used to using your avatar along side your parents, even joining them in the lab and doing experiments which you loved, celebrating your 16th birthday, you missed Lo’ak with your whole soul but what were you to do.
Lo’ak on the other hand hated he hadn’t seen you, his family had to leave to find a place to protect them and the people, him and his family went to the Metkayina a few months before, but then Kiri had a seizure and Jake contacted Norm and Max to come see what was wrong.
—
“Uncle Norm, uncle Max where are we going?” you asked as you were packing your things “Something happened so hurry and meet us at the helicopter” uncle Max said before him and Norm walked out the lab.
You had gotten the rest of your stuff around and walked out heading for the helicopter. You were interested in knowing where you were going but your uncles would tell you anything, Max was your biological uncle because of your mom while Norm was kinda just a close friend of your dad.
You sat there looking at the landscape in-front of you “Holy shit!” you laughed with a smile your Uncle Max smiled at your reaction “Language” he said “Please you were smiling at me” you said rolling your eyes.
This was your first time seeing the ocean and the animals jumping out of it “This is amazing” you said while smiling.
Soon you had landed when you hopped out many pale-ish blue Na’vi were staring at you whispers coming from each of them things like “Her hairs curly like ours but with more noticeable curls” etc. you get it, you walked past then and seen Jake you ran to him and hugged him he gladly hugged you back “Hey kid” he said laughing you let him go forgetting how tall Na’vi are Max and Norm walked up to him “Where is she?” Jake nodded and led them through the village to their marui your eyes widened at the sight “Holy shit, what the hell is wrong with my friend!” you say to Jake “Take it easy, we don’t know” you sigh “I’ll take some scans” Max and Norm nodded.
You scanned her body “So Jake what happened?” Jake had to recall what happened “The kids said she connected her queue to the tree the Metkayina people have her similar to the tree of souls and she just passed out” you look closely “She had a seizure, but it shows nothing wrong with her, her brain work seems perfect, you can let her do it again” Jakes eyes widened “What never??” you sighed standing up “If she does this again and has a seizure under water, she may not survive this time she was lucky.”
Ronal walks in and looks at you and your uncles “It seems i am not needed here” she turns to walk away Neytiri says something to her before your all kicked out Max and Norm are ready to go as they walk back to the helicopter and seen Neteyam and hugged him smiling “Holy shit- Y/n, i’ve missed you” he said hugging you back disbelief in his voice “i gotta go catch up with my Uncles ill see you later” you jogged off catching up with the two grown men “We aren’t leaving yet, not until i know Kiri is gonna be okay” They looked at each other knowing you weren’t gonna let this one slide “Fine” they both said you put your stuff in the helicopter and grabbed your music player and a hair tie you put your hair into a makeshift bun just so it could hold your curls securely and put the headphones on and walked along the beach.
You thought about life a year ago, how you missed Lo’ak, but now you’ve changed within that year gap of not seeing him, you’ve matured a bit more and acted somewhat differently, you didn’t take that many adventures around Pandora anymore, you worked in the lab with your parents and other scientists, became less naive, became more closed off in a way, kept to yourself, got a hell of a lot stronger, you wondered what Lo’ak would think of you now it was eating you alive thinking of all the possibilities.
What if he found a mate.
What if he doesn’t like the person you’ve become.
What if he forgot about you.
No, Lo’ak couldn’t have forgotten about you, but then again where was he you only seen Neteyam, Lo’ak was no where to be found you sighed and dipped you feet into the water allowing yourself to relax and breath.
Soon your thoughts were interrupted by laughing this caught your attention so you walked over your eyes widened seeing Lo’ak with another girl it kinda hurt you knowing he probably moved on from you, but it hurt knowing he made a friendship like your and his with someone else.
You turned to walk away leaving you in your thoughts once again with tears rolling down your face and your curls sticking to the tear trail, before you were pulled out your thoughts ones again “Hey! who are you come back here!” the person yelled based off the voice it was Lo’aks just slightly deeper.
You started to walk faster your face already cleared of tears your only focus was getting as far away from here as you could.
A hand landed on your shoulder to your shock without thinking you grabbed the arm twisted it and pulled it forward flipping the person onto the ground then landing with a thud you eyes widened “Shit i’m sorry” you say quickly before helping the person up.
“It’s all good” the person said brushing the sand out their hair you were very short compared to the Na’vi in front of you “You sure? I did kinda just flip you onto your back” you nervously laugh the Na’vi looks at you then their eyes widen with shock.
—
Lo’ak and Tsireya were laughing in the water, oh how he wished he was laughing with Y/n.
Lo’ak longed for Y/n everyday since the last time he saw her but when he started to hang out with tsireya the more he longed. That was until he noticed a small human looking figure walking away from the beach where they were “Lo’ak someone’s watching us” reya pointed to the fleeing figure making Lo’ak go after them and end up where he was now in front of the person that flipped him onto his back.
—
You stood there not sure if he recognized you, the other Na’vi walks up to Lo’ak and rest her hands on his arms giving you a bitchy look you roll your eyes not caring she was taller than you.
The girl looked at you as she held Lo’ak tightly against her “If you don’t mind we’re hanging out at the moment” you rolled your eyes “Yup, my bad” you said moving your body past Lo’aks.
The pair watched you leave Lo’ak thinking you looked and sounded familiar but he didn’t have much time to think about it since reya pulled him along with her Lo’ak kept watching your figure that was until he heard Tuk scream a name he hasn’t heard in years.
“Y/n!!!.”
Lo’aks eyes widened and he ripped his arm from reyas “Lo’ak?” she asked confused “Not right now Reya” Lo’ak ran until he caught sight of the you.
—
“Hey Tuk” you said looking at her “You’ve gotten shorter” Tuk laughed “Oh? maybe it’s because you’ve gotten taller-“ your words were cut off as you hit the ground “I missed you so so much” you looked down it was Lo’ak he had his arms wrapped around your waist while tears streamed down his face “I missed you too Lo’ak” you said kissing the top of his head over and over again.
—
When Neytiri seen you a Lo’ak hanging out she hated it, Jake on the other hand was happy to see his son so happy.
Tsireya on the other hand was not so much she blamed you for taking Lo’ak away from her even though it had only been a few months she knew she wanted to mate with him, you were extremely nice to her wanting to get to know her after Lo’ak introduced the two of you, when meeting her you could tell she hated you but you stayed being nice no matter what.
You and Lo’ak spent time together all the time from morning to night, when Kiri finally woke up it was time to leave.
Lo’ak greeted you that morning only to find out you had to leave “You leaving already?!” you smiled sadly “Lo’ak you know i can’t stay here even when if wanted to i couldn’t there no place for a human here” you said looking around eyes settling on Tsireya knowing she would be happier if you left “But when would i see you again?!” you smiled sadly “I’m not sure Lo’ak, but i can promise it’ll be very soon.”
You hugged Lo’ak he hugged you back just as tightly his tail wrapping around your human figure, Tsireya felt a growl in her throat as she watched.
You and Lo’ak parted ways once you’re feet hit the helicopter floor but you knew you’d be seeing him sooner than you thought.
This is gonna have a part two or this is gonna be a hell of a lot longer then it needs to be

revised technically since i had to rewrite

“If you want to live here, you have to ride.”
My siblings and I, minus Kiri, are in the shallow parts of the water, being introduced to the Ilus. I watch them swim around us as they make yips and chirping noises similar to the ones Ao'nung made to call them over. We eventually separate, Tsireya going towards Lo'ak and Ao'nung with me and Neteyam.
Neteyam and I proceed to look at each other, using our 'twin-epathy' as Dad calls it, to communicate with one another and decide who will go first. We don't notice Ao'nung's confused stare as he realizes that we weren't listening to the beginning of his speech.
"Okay then, I'll go first," Neteyam says, looking at me and then at Ao'nung. He blinks a couple times, the second pair of lids coming out on his second blink. Which is something that I cannot help but stare at. "Alright."
Ao'nung guides Neteyam on how to sit and hold on to the Ilu. "It's the same concept as your Ikran," Ao'nung adds, taking a step back. I don't miss the added emotion of what I think is disgust when he mentions our clan's chosen rides and I know that Neteyam didn't either.
I follow the Metkayina's lead and take a step back as well, ducking my head underwater as Neteyam takes off. He holds on for a while and it seems like he got the hang of it before eventually he loses control of the animal and falls off.
I can hear Ao'nung and his group of friends laugh at the sight, while I just cover my smiling mouth. I bring my head out of the water and notice Tsireya steps back, joining the group, signaling that Lo'ak will have a go as well.
He doesn't last nearly as long as Neteyam did. The boys laugh harder at my younger brother than they did my twin. Tsireya even laughs as well but I know it wasn't out of ill intent, since it was entertaining seeing my brothers fall off.
"Alright forest girl, you're next," Ao'nung says, looking down at me with the obvious height difference with the stupid smirk on his face. "Hmm," is all I reply with. He guides the closest Ilu towards us and helps me get on. He goes through the same process with me, but not as in-depth of an explanation since I've already heard it when he was helping Neteyam. "Good. Now make the bond," I grab my queue from behind me and make tsaheylu. I take a silent deep breath and concentrate on the feeling.
"Feel her breath, her strength," He says. But what caught me off guard was him grabbing my hand and laying it flat on the Ilu's neck, his hand laying firmly on top of mine. I glance up at him but he doesn't make a move to look at me as he snatches his hand back, almost as if he didn't realize what he was doing himself. I decided to ignore it.
He steps back to give me space. When I feel like I'm finally ready, I take a deep breath and tell my Ilu to go underwater.
Keeping balance on the anime while maintaining proper directions against the water pressure was hard, especially with my unadjusted body. Only a couple times I felt myself slip a little but I managed to hold on. I felt confident to go deeper into the water and speed up.
The Ilu seemed to know what I was planning to do before I even gave her the thought. I hear the Ilu chirp before it begins to ascend higher toward the water's surface and jumps out, completing a small backflip.
I splash back into the water and rise back up with my back facing the group. I throw my head back and laugh, looking back at everyone else with a big smile on my face.
The Metkayina boys were standing there in shock and surprise while everyone else was cheering and happy at the display, with little Tuk showing the most excitement. Then there was Lo'ak, who let out a little "Show-off..." but was happy for his big sister nonetheless.
No one noticed Ao'nung's ears pulled all the way back to lay almost flat against his head and his stiff tail lifting up, looking just as shocked as his friends but another indescribable feeling lingering within his body language and deep within his eyes.
Except for his sister.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 || two
- Life is no longer the same since the sully family have arrived on the metkayina lands, will this be a new beginning or an ending.
Warnings - slight angst.
Word count - 4.5K
This took me so long to write and it doesn’t even make sense because my brain isn't clicking, it may seem rushed. so I know this is gonna flop hard, it’s triggered my creative juices though so I will be writing more for neteyam and Lo’ak, Ao’nung as well.
There had been many eclipses since the Sully family arrived on the Metkayina lands, many lessons had been taught and friendships were blossoming. Aonung had once promised you he'd have nothing to do with the Sully children after teaching them, yet you saw the façade he carried with those words. Aonung was the most stubborn of you three, but even he caved into building relationships with the Omaticaya children. Slowly but surely, he was adjusting to them.
“Gotcha” you shouted, surprising Tuk. You had spent the day with the youngest of the Sully family, tasked by your father with sharing knowledge about the Ilu to her. You weren’t complaining, preferring her childish behavior over the constant pestering from Aonung about the sully brothers.
“This isn’t fair, you catch me every time” Tuk cried from her spot, her green eyes sparkling with disbelief. She chose to hide behind the saddle stand which didn’t really do well to hide her.
She was energetic as you expected, always bouncing around, always ready for a new adventure. In some way she reminded you of yourself as a child, her bright innocent eyes glistened with wanderlust, something more than what she was permitted to do.
You knew better than to let her roam around alone, so you did your best to keep her safe and entertained.
“Don’t worry little one, I’m sure you’ll grow to be a stealthy warrior one day” You replied, lowering your body to her height.
“You really think so?” Tuk’tirey gleamed with happiness, she’d always watched her mother with adoration, a fierce warrior in the omaticaya clan, and wished she’d grow to be the same.
This was the only reason why she was so persistent in joining her brothers and sister in their own endeavors, even when she wasn’t supposed to. After all, Tuk’tirey was eager for adventure.
You responded with a curt nod, reassuring the young girl, “I do not think, I know you will be” your voice was filled with assurance, engulfing her in a soft hug.
“Now come on, lessons are over now for you and I’m sure your mother would be worried if you do not return home before the eclipse” you let her go from your reassuring embrace, twirling a piece of her braid between your fingers. Tuk complied, surprising you when she reached for your hand, holding it in her own without question. Advancing both of you towards the sully family's marui pod.
“What is it with you and my brother? '' Tuk asked curiously as she continued dragging you.
You frowned upon hearing this, “what is what, tuk?” You responded, eager to hear what she thought.
“You are all he talks about, he used to be with me and the others but he spends his time following you around now” she laughed, her giggles were contagious causing you to sniffle.
“I apologise Tuk, I don’t mean to take your brother away” Tuk shrugged her shoulders, looking up at you with adoration. Her large eyes peered into your own “it isn’t that, we are grateful” she giddily spoke “it would be great to have another sister,”
From afar, the others had just arrived back on their ilu’s, another day of lessons and laughter filled their hearts but Neteyam couldn’t think properly. His own beating chest craving for something, someone, which made it hard for him to focus.
The sole reason why he enjoyed the lessons was because of you, the girl he’d spend time with star gazing into the dead of night, speaking nothing but the truth and concealing each other’s secrets with an oath of protection. It was almost like a devotion to each other and he was wholeheartedly dedicated to preserving it.
The scene before him brought out a smile on his lips, his pearly canines on full display watching Tuk’tirey pull you eagerly towards their marui, as the eldest brother this made his heart soar, doting at the sight.
He steadily jumped off his ilu, ignoring the questions flying from his brother's mouth, Lo’ak had been pushing his limits recently, although Neteyam never held anything against his younger brother, he still used it as an excuse to throw his attention to you.
Jake sully knew there was something brewing in the shadows of feelings between his son and the youngest daughter of the olo’eyktan so he could not blame him for the mistakes that Lo’ak would make.
The connection you both made not once faltered from his mind, he thought about it often and knew you’d do the same.
“You remember how to breathe” you quizzed, voice calm and soft as you guided neteyams hand back to his stomach. The beaming planet of light was close to parading you all underneath another cold night, nearing dusk you and Neteyam floated within the tides. A shell in hand while the other was being held within neteyams grasp, against his torso.
He hummed, nodding his head in focus. “I remember,” came his response. Neteyam held your hand firmly against his abdomen, not once making an attempt to move it from the place he held it.
You were nervous, hiding the scattered shivers of your body in a horrid attempt to appease your dignity “okay, good. You see this shell here?-“ you raised your hand out of the water, showcasing the glimmering shell in between your fingers. You awaited his answer, watching as his doe eyes settled on the shell with a curt nod.
“I’m going to throw it and I want you to retrieve it” you ordered, firm but with a hint of kindness in it. Neteyam was eager to showcase how much he’s learnt.
“that also means you have to let my hand go”
Neteyam was aware of his actions, wanting to hold you for a moment longer. Your presence bought a sense of calm tides to his raging waters, a solemn promise of unspoken words that granted him a sense of freedom. It was both confusing but also as if it was by fate; he felt you were unlike the others, your entirety affecting his own in more ways than one and it was out of his control and in the hands of Eywa.
He said nothing, letting his fingers graze against your skin one last time. So slowly it was agonising, you pulled back the shudder that began to form.
You readied your aim, throwing the shell into the depths of the sea, watching as the tides took hold of their claim, tugging on the object and pulling it below. Neteyam took no time debating his actions, stealing one last breath before pummeling himself beneath the water.
A few minutes passed by and his silhouette had yet to make an appearance, you knew he’d come back up. He wasn’t one to give up so easily.
Neteyam popped back from beneath the sea, hand raised in the air with a beaming smile “found it”
You grabbed his cheeks out of happiness, screeching in delight “you did it, Neteyam. You really did it” you were beyond proud, heart soaring with colourful emotions.
Neteyams cheeks grew at the sight, his chest heaving from the lack of air but he truly felt accomplished seeing your reaction.
“Did I pass your test?” He asked, eyes wide in inquisition. Your head bobbed in response, “you did more than that, I’m so proud of you” you released, without a second thought you pulled his head down between your palms, resting your lips on the bow of his braids in a tender kiss.
Neteyams eyes lowered, shadowed, his hand making its way to curl around your wrist and when you noticed what you had done, you felt your confidence sway. Those same nerve wrecking shivers return, reminding you of what you felt prior to this.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to-“ Neteyam shook his head, “don’t say sorry” he demanded, eyes not once leaving your face as you tried to conceal the contortion of distress plaguing your features.
“Don’t apologise for that,” he retorted, “do I get another if I do it again” he asked, lightening the mood but it only earned him a slap on the side of his head “you are unbelievable”
Neteyam hurled in fits of giggles when you pushed his head under the water, before you could swim away, his hand wrapped around your foot tugging you to his side.
Your head was immersed in the tides, as you looked around clearing your line of sight, beneath the surface neteyam’s skin glowed in dots of bioluminescence making it easier for you to see him. He grabbed you by your waist causing you to shriek under the water, immediately calming down remembering whoms hand engulfed you.
He pulled a piece of your braid, twirling it between his fingers. The moment felt blissful and your heavy surroundings helped cover your nervousness. You couldn’t help but lean into his touch as he dragged a single finger down the side of your face.
“Can I?” He signed, in the heat of the moment. You nodded, granting him consent and with that; neteyam leaned in, lips softly touching your own in a longing embrace. Emerged and one with the sea, with eywa you connected.
Your hands grabbed the back of his neck, until you felt his braids on your own. Holding him as if he was a fickle part of your imagination, delicately nuzzling your fingers in his hair. As you shared breaths beneath the covers of Eywas gifts to the people, you did not want to leave his embrace.
With that night you both left, keeping the words you shared as something unspoken. You couldn’t bring yourself to mention the happenings again, pushing them below an unreachable surface but Neteyam didn’t. His longing stares and attempts to woo you did not go unnoticed. He’d be by your side, sharing his plate during the communal feast, gifting you with new pieces for your braids. Tending to your pain when you had no one to share your feelings with.
As you made your way out of the sully marui pod, Tuks words stuck in your mind, you found your path already filled with another’s presence, judging from the sway of his thin tail and the shade of blue, you knew it was Neteyam. The tall boy peered down at you with a toothy grin, his head adjusting slightly down towards your shorter stature.
You couldn’t help but feel the heat in your cheeks burn against your skin from his strong gaze, you remained ignorant to your feelings, pushing them aside for the greater good of your nature.
“Neteyam” you greeted faintly, standing firm in your place. Over time you grew to enjoy his companionship, yearning for his presence during your solitude, it seems as though for the first time since your heart had been broken, it finally chose someone to piece it back together.
“Eywa’s little helper” he addressed, granting you a subtle bow of his head. You couldn’t help but shift around in your spot.
Avoiding his gaze for a slight while.
“Why so sheepish?” Neteyam sniffled, teasing you to no end. He knew you were a person who valued her connection with eywa over people, when you explained this to him everything clicked in place. Why you were often quiet, saying very few words and placing reason over your inability to converse properly at times. You were shy.
You shoved him playfully “why are you always so questioning?” You asked, your eyebrow bone rose. Neteyam peered back at you.
“I wouldn’t be a mighty warrior if I wasn’t curious” he countered, arms crossed over his puffed chest, full of pride. You knew it was all an act and withdrew from laughing.
“It will be the death of you, a mighty warrior does better knowing rather than wondering” you admitted.
Neteyam could only hope that wasn’t his fate, not before he’d do something that he’d carry with him into the embrace of his ancestors. He grinned, gazing into your cerulean eyes but was once again disappointed when you averted his line of sight. He couldn’t help but feel the happiness drain from him, it truly felt as if fate despised him when it came to you.
You lightly grabbed his shoulder in between your fingers, your soft palm grazing across his skin nearing his neck. Neteyam snapped out of his trance feeling your touch.
“Are you okay? you lost focus a bit there” you asked in concern, from the beginning you’d placed your boundaries with him, shoulders only. His touch stung your palms and palpated the core of your chest, his skin against yours sent the lortsyal inside your stomach into a panicked frenzy. Although you shared a connection in front of Eywa, you could not bring yourself to admit it.
But you were genuinely worried “I’m okay, do not worry yourself,” he expressed, thankful for your caring nature. No matter what you did, every trait you had, neteyam could never find a reason to not further his feelings for you.
“You mustn’t lose focus if you’re to be a mighty warrior Neteyam,” you scolded him, missing the glimmer in his eyes, “Eywa’s little helper always looking out for me,” Neteyam returned with his usual teasing tone, he leaned down. Hands behind his back with a scrutinising look.
“Whatever,” you huffed, the echo of footsteps caused your ears to shift. Distracting you from the close proximity that neteyam induced between you both.
Tuk observed you both, smiling to herself.
“Bro, you totally ignored me back there” Lo’ak confessed with disbelief, Kiri not following to far behind him. she shot you a smile and a frantic wave of her five fingered hand.
“I’d ignore you too” kiris mellow voice acknowledged her eldest brother's choice, appearing by his side. The eldest of the sully family, starred up from beneath his brows, sending daggers to his youngest brother.
Every time he’d get close to you it seemed either Lo’ak or Aonung would ruin his advances toward you, you both had a solid foundation of friendship now. Spending endless nights together and early mornings, yet, it still didn’t seem to satiate his desires. He felt pulled for more, there was something else that he had to uncover about his feelings.
But when he’d finally get you to speak to him, not under the eclipse but instead when the sun shone and the sky was shaded blue, one of the two morons would completely ruin his chances.
While the brothers spoke, you hurried off, Neteyam granted you a knowing look of comfort but you once again ignored it. You could do without a look of pity, you anxiously approached your stoic mother who stood just before the entrance of your own Marui pod. The dissatisfied look on her face spoke before she could utter a word.
“Your father tasked you with teaching the young sully girl about Ilu. Why am I hearing that you were with the eldest boy instead.” She asked, towering over you. Her large orbs didn’t help decrease your fear, your mother was a fierce woman and her eyes played a big part in it.
“I did mother, Tuk’tirey is a quick learner and I had only just spoken to him” straight to the point, your mother would accept nothing less.
She huffed “Tuk’tirey is a child who should not be controlling your decisions nor should the Sullys eldest son for the matter, your path is clear yet you steer off into a different direction as if you cannot see”
You wanted to fight back, stand your ground but what came out of your mouth could only be heard by the insects “I done what was asked”
A sigh escaped her lips, she wasn’t displeased by your presence. She was your mother and she cared deeply for you but you had responsibilities to attend to and she would make sure your focus was on that.
“And you will continue doing what is asked, you have responsibility to this clan that you must carry.” She continued, you could only take her scolding with your head bowed in shame.
“I know you are burdened by this, but you are chosen for a good reason. Eywa would not have honored you if you were not fit for it, now go. Lessons are to be taught and the day is fleeting” she assured with a hint of compassion seeping through her tone.
You bowed your head in shame, nothing brought you more pity than the gaze of disappointment from your own family “yes, mother”
You left the marui pod with a bashful display of emotions coaxing your face. You had let the distractions of the sully family take you away from your teachings, prioritise what was needed over what was wanted.
Yet, you didn’t know what you wanted right now. Your heart beat furiously at the sight of the eldest sully son, your hands grew clammy but your soul felt at peace. It was a feeling you could not unravel but it was causing distractions. You felt torn between two worlds, one where you wanted to be free, to pursue companionship and the other was to your people.
As your pace slowed and your heart settled, you made your way to the reef, sitting on top of the rocks in anguish.
Neteyam approached your dishevelled figure, slowly pacing himself towards you with a fellow feeling, he knew that look all too well and couldn’t help but follow you the moment he saw it. His heart curled at the sight, throat tight to suppress the anger he felt.
“Go away” you strongly spoke aloud, your ears perked up but your body did not. His steps were faint and he could feel a sense of pride swell in his chest at your sense of hearing, a skill.
Neteyam claimed his spot beside you. You could only huff and roll your eyes at the sight, it wasn’t his fault for what you’ve done. It was your own for letting the distractions of a fickle sense of adoration cloud you from your responsibilities.
“What’s wrong?” He quirked,
“I don’t wanna talk about it, Neteyam. It is my own to carry” you paused, slightly agitated from the conversation you just endured. You couldn’t bring yourself to be mad at anyone, not even your own mother. You could only blame yourself for being such a fool.
“You don’t have to carry this alone, I know what it’s like to feel burdened by these roles,” his voice low and accent thick, his eyes darkened at the sight of your dejection.
“But I do, I must carry this alone. It’s not your fault but I cannot be beside you anymore, it was a mistake to think I could carry this responsibility and be happy, if my mother sees you here she will have my throat” you couldn’t look at him, feeling a single snap in the chords of your heart. Your soul was no longer at peace.
“Kehe” Neteyam muttered under his breath, shaking his head in disapproval “if you think saying that will make me leave, you’re wrong. If your mother is to have your throat she can have mine as well, I will not leave you not like this”
You shook off the feeling, wanting to avoid the topic. You did not have time to be fooling around, this you knew. The moments you had with neteyam were dearly held in your heart, he slithered you out of your shell and aided your willingness to be more open.
You were torn, haven’t you given enough already.
Neteyam reached for your hand, Entangling his fingers between your own “I trust you, you can trust me” he spoke ever so softly.
You looked up at him, the sorrow in your eyes broke through the facade you carried. The shield you placed before you cracked and displayed the great hurt you carried.
“I feel like no matter what I do, it’ll never be enough. I do not deserve such an honourable rank. I'm not fit for it, I want to be free. I want to roam the ocean and enjoy the gifts of Eywa but I cannot and I have no choice. It’s almost like I have to reject every ounce of myself in order to fulfil the role I was given. I’ll never be truly seen unless I deny every fibre of my being.” Your cries were silent but the tears that flew down your cheeks, like fine silk spoke otherwise.
Neteyam nodded his head in understanding, surveying your bodily expression, not once inching away from you, he held you with utter care and his sweet adoring smile had yet to make an appearance.
“You have a strong heart,” Neteyam finally spoke, his head tilted back with truth.
“I know it is hard, this responsibility. But you are not unworthy of it. You care so deeply for your surroundings, for the children, for me. You do what is asked even if it’s something you cannot understand, you think being you is different from being a leader but you are wrong. You have everything a leader is and what makes them. Your mother might believe you need to shed yourself to be worthy but I don’t. I believe you’re worthy of it all” he expressed, holding tight on your hand as he placed another on your cheek.
Neteyam found it hard to express and comfort people but he felt no need to restrain himself from comforting you, it came naturally. He couldn’t bear seeing you in such a state that holding himself back from shouting blasphemous words to protect you was lenient. His main focus was you and for once in his life, he finally understood why Eywa brought you two together.
You couldn’t bring yourself to look at him, only your intertwined hands stole your attention. Neteyam gently caressed beneath your chin, tilting it up to meet his before he searched your orbs once again. The tear-filled ducks were no longer full of your sorrow, you could only pity your state but Neteyam frowned upon the broken walls before him.
“Even if no one sees you, I see you, Renaia.” Neteyam admitted, biting the inside of his cheek, his eyes scrunched painfully but his body reached for yours with longing.
Your tears were no longer evident as you grasped his face in your own palms. Neteyam responded with a sweet bountiful smile, his heart pounding against his chest.
“Neteyam” you utter in hushed breaths, barely crossing the barrier of silence but he heard, his ears peeking up.
“You’re the only one I have eyes on, it’s always been that way the moment we arrived.” His husky voice displayed honesty, Neteyam leaned into you. Forehead to forehead.
You grasped a newfound hope, placing a hand over the skin of his chest in an attempt to mirror his actions “I see you, Neteyam but it would bring me great shame if I was too bring you embarrassment”
He scoffed “shame? You bring me nothing but pride and I’d be honoured to have you as mine for the rest of our lives.”
From the start Eywa has been trying to show you that Neteyam was for you. As you were for him but you were clouded by your gifts, responsibilities and the weight of the village that you did not see the connection.
Neteyam shivered, closing his eyes to truly take in your warmth, your acceptance “You’ve had my heart for a long time Renaia” you couldn't control the sniffles of your cries, molded into happiness. The eldest sully son held you against his chest.
“I will always protect your heart, Yawne.” he promised, bringing you into his hold where he secured you beneath him.
In that moment two become one, the barriers of friendship crumbled and solidified something more than the eyes can see. If your mother was to kill you, so be it, Neteyam would die beside you and this he knew.
…………………
I very much hate this, I’m not even kidding I despise this piece of work and can only hope some form of enjoyment came from it. I will be writing for aonung, Lo’ak and our golden boy neteyam again but I’ve been thinking of other writings that are far different from this, I tend to have knack for writing long stories, making a part two and then the part two being my worst pieces of work.

I loved this beautiful Avatar 2 fanart of the characters of Spider, Neteyam, Kiri, Lo'ak and Tuk especially because they include the adoption of Spider. I also found it funny to see the differences in their heights and to see that tun is almost the same height as Spider.
By the way, this beautiful Avatar 2 post of them is not mine and the credits are not for me, but I warn you that right here I am going to leave you the link of the true creator of this beautiful masterpiece on Pinterest

~Lo’ak x f! human reader
~straight fluff
~proofread-somewhat
~summary-Spider, who is forced to go home early after causing problems around pandora, brings along the Sully crew and someone new is there to greet them.
“You have to go back?” Lo’ak asked for the third time, Spider rolled his eyes, “yes, or they'll wring my neck.” Kiri's head popped up from helping Tuk before she smiled at Spider, “can I come? I want to say hi to mom!” Tuk’s head nodded, “can I come too?” Spider shrugged, “ yea, y'all can come.” Lo’ak began walking toward the place where Spider called home. Spider was like a brother to the Sully children constantly bringing chaos with him. The most recent chaos is pranking Tuk, she took it well, but everyone else did not. Making him have a bedtime for the next four weeks.
The group approached the facility, Kiri running ahead with Tuk opening the door, “hello, max!” Tuk said while grabbing an air mask. Usually, Max would happily answer the kids and invite them, but not today. “Spider did you forget who's coming today?” Max frantically went up to the group checking behind her back, “whose coming?” Kiri asked while the woman attempted to push them out the door, “we have a girl who's supposed to be staying for the next few weeks. Spider has known of this since last month.” She grabbed his arm before pushing him slightly. “Thank you for stopping by but today isn't the day kids.” She gave a sad look, but before she could continue explaining herself, a gasp was heard behind her.
A girl no older than Lo’ak and Kiri appeared behind Max. Max sighed out loud before attempting to grab the girl, “I told you {Y/n}, stay in the room.” {Y/n}, who completely ignored the words coming from max was looking at Lo’ak who was looking right back. “{Y/n}, stay right here I'm going to be right back. “ She said while dragging a shocked Spider away. {Y/n} smiled while looking at all three of the children. She was amazed by their height and color. She smiled at the boy she was holding a staring eye contest with. She saw the two girls and simply waved before speaking up, “what's your guy's name?” Tuk who was amazed by the girl went first, “I’m Tuk and this is my sister Kiri and brother Lo’ak!” The girl smiled big, “pretty names.”
Kiri felt as if your presence was very calm by the way you spoke to her and Tuk. You smiled big at all their questions and had a loud laugh. Lo’ak was starstruck. He hadn't gotten a word out since you came just looking at you. You seemed sure of yourself, constantly talking and asking questions. When your questions shifted to him, he almost passed out. “Are you shy?” His silence made you curious, but it was only answered with a laugh from the two girls, “do not let his quietness fool you, human girl, he is very talkative.” You smiled once more, before speaking, “everyone's shy meeting someone new for the first time it's okay!” Lo’ak smiled at you and you went on babbling about whatever before Tuk and Kiri went to go see Gace.
“You're very handsome.” You said after being left alone with the boy. Shocked covered his face before he finally spoke a word. “Thank you,” {Y/n} smiled big at the boy before he looked back and smiled down at her, “before I came, they said Na’vi’s we're dangerous but you don't seem too bad.” She grabbed his hand before judging the size difference, “you have the same amount of fingers as me, that means we're perfect together.” She smiled up at him, and he laughed, “you think?” {Y/n} nodded before letting go and, noticing a max came around the corner. “Sorry I took long hope these fools kept you entertained” You smiled before looking toward the boy, “will I be able to see you tomorrow?” She looked him in the eyes causing his heart to speed up and him to play with his fingers. “Yea I'll come around.” she smiled big before saying goodbye to him and the two girls. Lo’ak sighed hard while the group walked home.
“Where were you three?” A curious Neteyam asked while he noticed Lo’ak seemed out of it. Tuk, who was standing next to her mother, laughed, “ Lo’ak met a girl!” Lo’ak rubbed his face before turning toward the girl. “Is this true Lo’ak?” his mother questioned him, “not any girl a human girl,” Kiri said which made Lo’ak get up, “it was nothing.” Neytiri's eyes fell on the boy, “you must be careful son, humans are very selfish beings.” Lo’ak heard his mother's worry but it was much too late, he had already fallen in love.

All done!! May this be the first of many more, and I hope you all have a good New Year!! Love you all till next time

Tstew Chapter 2
Hiiiiiiiii!! This is a 2.0 version cause the first one was terrible. However, hopefully this new version is better! Dont be afraid to give me constructional criticism. I wanna make my fics top tier good stuff! Okie enough of blabber! Enjoy!
Ch1, Ch2, Ch3
"vital signs are clear.....no.....normal......yeah I can see it..."
Hearing faint voices soon began to get clear and louder, bright light above her face. Tstew slowly blinks away the sleepiness and rubs her eyes, yawning a bit.
"hey how you feeling kiddo?" max asks her, standing beside her, making sure everything is going well. "actually....felt like I had a really really good nap, say what time is it-OW!!!" as she rose up, she accidently hits her head with the hanging lights. "The fuck?! what I hit?!" quick to anger as she glares the light. Making her question why a ceiling light is at her eye level.
"holy shit...." quickly looking down, she sees her arms, hands, fingers, legs, all blue. "it...it worked!!!" getting excited she tries to stand up in full height only to hit her head again. "OW! damn that hurts!" she cries out.
"careful! you just got this body for like 2 minutes and already your hurting yourself!" max scolds.
On the other side of the room, looking from the outside are the sully children. Seeing their friend awaken in her new body. Neteyam leans a bit to ask norm, "did dad every hit himself that much?". Norm who was beside them making sure the avatar was working, responds "not really, what he did was slam the window a bit and leaves butt naked to run around like a hippie". Neteyam doesn't know what hippie is but given how norm said, hippie could mean something stupid.
When they saw tstew stand up, all were.....surprised. Tstew as human was tall, taller than an average human height. But now in her na'vi form? It DOUBLED. Tuk was lifting her head so back she almost fell if it weren't for kiri and spider catching her in time. She was that tall.
"why is she taller than our dad...??" lo'ak asks, staring at tstew. Really everyone was. Norm was really astonished. Tstew is not a fully grown adult and neither is her avatar but damn do they stand like one.
"well....my clear guess is that her genes must have been that strong that the height genes carried well into the avatar process. Now her avatar stands at 9'11 tall" norm theorized. Well, not much of a theory since it is clear as day the height genes passed on.
Everyone took their time to get a good look at tstew as she is doing some basic movements with max.
One thing that was noticeable was her eyes. Even as an avatar, the golden amber eyes was always there, but for tstew. That's different. Her eyes were the same mesmerizing emerald green. The same beautiful eyes that are easy to fall for.
Looking more in detail, her shade of blue was even darker as well. Closer to a midnight blue. Her black hair was curly and reached down to her knees. Her eyebrows were short but a bit thick. Her overall form was that of standard na'vi but with more slight curves.
In short, she was just as beautiful as she is in her human form.
"GIANT WOMAN!!" tuk shouted in glee.
Back with tstew and max, already getting used to her new body and doing simple movements max asked her to do. "alright, ready to leave this room?" max asked, "more than ready" replied tstew. She is ready from the get go. Excited to do new things with her new body.
Both left the room and greeted by norm and the kids. "well? how do I look?" tstew asked with a hint of nervous in her voice. All voiced their praises at the same time but it came out as word scrambles.
"ok ok one at a time!" norm speaks, trying to calmed the big kids. Tuk was quick and went towards tstew, arms raised demanding to be picked up, which tstew happily does. "you look so pretty!!" tuk giggles, already playing with her long hair. "thanks tuktuk!".
Kiri was up next with a playful smirk on her face, "seems your green eyes came through". While kiri and tuk admire her new look, spider, lo'ak and neteyam stood dumbfounded. Getting a better look up close changed everything.
"well boys? watchu think?" tstew smirks as she sees the boys wide eyes and mouths open. Though lo'ak was quick to shake his head. "hold up! its not really fair! you are around our age yet you are taller than my dad!". "True, guess my DNA is just that strooooooong!!" she lifts kiri and tuk as they hang from her arms and spins around.
Max and norm had to get her to stop otherwise they be tipping over and breaking things. "well get changed or something and go outside" suggested norm, happily tstew complied. But with one problem. "I don't have clothes for this body...". Quickly this gave the kids and idea to make clothes for her. While they understood tstew feelings and motives for staying away from their clan, doesn't mean she cant dress as one.
"lets go, there are ways to make quick clothing for you" kiri said as tuk and spider grabbed tstews hand and start to lead her outside from the lab. "hey hey!! at least give her this!!" max threw a large black blanket at lo'ak which he quickly covered tstew with, A plastic gown can only cover so much.
Tstew was ready, as she went outside embracing the natural sunlight. It felt the same yet different at the same time. She loved how the light make her blue skin glow. The wind flowing in her hair, the distant noises made from animals. It all felt so good.
"well? how do you feel?" neteyam asked, eagerly waiting to hear what his friend has to say. "I feel amazing! this is incredible!!" tstew spins around in cheers, letting her voice shout in excitement.
"come on come on! I wanna do your hair!" tuk grabs tstew's hand once more and leads her away from the lab. The other kids followed.
Now all were making something for tstew. Tuk was braiding her hair, kiri making a lovely top and loincloth with impressive woven patterns. Neteyam was making some carving some beads for the hair. Lo'ak was doing his best to make a bracelet, but his weaving skills....are not top tier, but is trying. And spider creating a pretty necklace. Each item being made is done with love and serenity. All wanting to make some sort of impression.
Kiri was no fool, she can see through the boys actions of what their motives are. Not wanting to intervene nor say her input but rather see how things will occur.
"your hair is so long! but so soft!" tuk says as she continues to play and braid more of the hair, to which is doing a pretty good job at it. "Thanks, I don't plan on cutting it" hair is one of her prized assets, something she would refuse to cut no matter what.
Spider was done with his craft and went over to tstew. "hey, made this for ya" he says as he nervously gives the necklace to tstew. "oh? you made something nice for once? hopefully it wont snap", winking smiling she looks at his work, looking at every detail there was. Using a strong thin vine, it was decorated with the smooth pebbles spider found, and a flower in the center with smaller ones around it. "Thanks a lot spider, and I mean it. Hey, help me put if on?" she asked and he happily complied.
Being careful, spider takes his sweet time tying the necklace around tstew's neck. Admiring her beauty up closer, taking in every little detail of her new face. Seems he took a while making tstew snap her fingers in front of his face. "oi! pandora to spider? you ok? got something on my face?", quickly spiders shakes his head and dismisses it.
Kiri rolls her eyes for like the millionth that day. "you're fine, its spider with sticky eyes not being able to move anywhere but your face". Spider blushed a bit, but tstew just laughed it off. "its ok spider, you can look at me all ya want I know I'm a looker" winking playfully at him. Which caused spider to blush even more this looking away.
That little interaction made neteyam and lo'ak glare at spider in jealousy. Of course they knew tstew was just being playful, but having that sort of attention from tstew is something they want for themselves.
"alright boys, go do something else, the clothing is done so tstew has to change" kiri says, making a 'shoo' gesture with her hand. The boys complied and walked at some distance to give tstew some privacy.
"So...tstew..." spider awkwardly tries to start a conversation. Lo'ak claps his hands mindlessly "yeah she is....just as pretty as her human body". Neteyam was having none of it, "So are we just going to pretend the three of us don't have feelings for tstew? because I do, I know you both do as well".
Spider and lo'ak didn't even look shocked at the accusation. For it was a fact. "well what can we do? I don't want to fight neither of you, also cause you both can easily crush me..." spider says. Lo'ak nods in agreement. "come on brother, I don't want to fight you nor spider. What do we do?" lo'ak asks. Despite the jealously he already feels for neteyam, there was no way he would fight his brother.
"simple. We do nothing. Not unless tstew shows some form of attraction for either of us. But we wont make any moves, no flirting, no trying to surprise the other. We.do.nothing. Alright?" neteyam says, spider and lo'ak seem to agree but not without some hesitation in their minds.
Before anymore can be said, the girls went towards them. "alright boys! feast your eyes on THIS BEAUTY!" tstew makes a pose, showing off the materials she was wearing. Clearly there was a color theme happening. That of greens and bright yellows. The loin cloth and top matching perfectly. With the beads decorated perfectly in her hair, and the perfect braids tuk has done. The necklace spider gifted to her worn around her neck, while she was simple. She was lovely. Thus creating a certain.....reaction form the boys.
Jaws dropped. Eyes wide. Drool? yes. Hotel? Trivago.
Alright!! PLEASE let me hear your thoughts! Like I mentioned before, there will be a part three! I hope you all enjoyed this!

IDIA || an Avatar story (x Neteyam)
Chapter 5
Masterlist
(English Na'vi)
I woke to Neytiri shaking me awake, and not in a particularly pleasant way.
"Wake up, lazy. It is time for breakfast," She scowled.
I was not used to waking up without an alarm clock. I was a heavy sleeper, so the sun did nothing to rouse me.
Jake walked over with an apologetic smile and handed me a bowl of something resembling cut up fruit. I matched his smile with one of gratitude.
"Today, Tonowari's kids and their friends are going to show you all how to ride an ilu. Except you, Tuk, but you still get to meet the ilus in the nursery. I want you all to do your best. Tie your hands to the damn saddle if you have to, but we have to succeed here," Jake ordered.
"I still can't swim," I pointed out. Jake's face flashed a look of frustration.
"I know," he sighed, "Kiri, Neteyam, after breakfast you will take Idia out and teach her to swim. Just... teach her enough so that she doesn't drown today."
I knew I should have been embarrassed but I was too busy being terrified. I did not, under any circumstances, want to find myself back in the water. Though, that's kind of impossible as a newly identified reef person.
I trusted Kiri, at least, not to let me die. She was too kind-hearted and devoted to Eywa.
Breakfast was over too soon and we set out to the beach.
"Okay, there's no drop off here. It only gets deeper gradually. Meaning, you're less likely to drown," Kiri tried to reassure me.
"Right." My voice was tight and small in my throat.
We headed out to chest height in the water. Kiri showed me the motion I should make with my arms and taught me how to push back and forth instead of up and down with my feet. Neteyam didn't say a word to me and for some inexplicable reason, it hurt.
"Your form is looking alright. I think we should head out a little deeper," She finally decided. My heart was absolutely hammering, but I followed her deeper until only my toes were skimming the floor and then nothing was touching the floor.
But then my head went under. I was splashing up a storm, making a fool of myself to anyone nearby.
It was the same as before. I didn't float or tread or swim. I sunk.
Right away, Kiri's skinny fingers wrapped around my forearm and dragged be back to shore until we were back at shoulder height.
I was breathing raggedly, and not from being under very long.
"Idia, you almost had it! You just need to remember to go slow and steady with your movements, and not to thrash," Kiri encouraged.
My breathing only became harder and harder. Before I could control my body, I was speeding back towards the shore. Kiri grabbed my shoulder and spun me around to face her.
"Hey, breathe, breathe. In and out." After I took a few guided breaths, she tilted her head to the side dramatically. "Did you really think I was going to let you drown?"
Yes, because I had been drowning my whole life. Nobody could be trusted to pull me up, because nobody had ever bat at eye at my thrashing before.
I didn't say that, though.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Kiri, but I can't do it."
Neteyam opened his mouth to speak, but my pent up anger towards his behavior made me cut him off, "I know, I know. I'm a failure. Don't remind me."
I didn't let either of them get out another word before I was back on dry land and basically stomping myself away.
My next decision was to find Jake and convince him to not make me learn to swim. I could learn to weave, cook food, make clothes. Anything but swimming.
"You can't live here and not swim. Sorry, Idia, but it's necessary." He concluded. I didn't even respond to that, and moved a step up to Tonowari who was standing right beside him. I had caught them just before they started a hunting consult.
"Olo'ektan, please. I can't swim. I'll do anything else, anything on land. Please, give me the job no one else wants, and I'll do it."
Jake looked so pissed that I had disregarded him in front of Tonowari that his expression actually sent a chill down my spine.
"Child." Tonowari seemed to sense my distress, and his tone softened. "Come, let us talk. I think you need it."
We headed away from the group. (Thank Eywa, I think Jake was a few seconds away from actually strangling me). He took a seat under a large Pandorian palm tree and patted for me to sit beside him, which I obeyed.
"I can learn any skill you want, I promise I can pick up things fast. Just... not swimming," I swore to him.
"What are you so afraid of?"
"Drowning, for one."
"No. You know what I mean. You have no trust."
"I have trust."
He gave me a look that said 'knock it off'.
I sighed. "I can't trust any of them. Neytiri would have me killed if it were up to her, the kids despise me, and Jake sees me as only a problem." Something about his sturdy features made me open up maybe too much. "None of them care about me, they never have. In fact, no one ever has."
He seemed pleased with this confession. "Someone would have had to. You couldn't have made it to teenagerhood without someone."
"I lived in a human lab, Olo'ektan. It is too easy in those places to survive without living."
"Oh, child... Your life has really not had any love, has it?"
"No, I suppose not."
"Come, we will find my daughter. She saved you from my son before, correct? Thus she can be trusted to save you again. She will teach you. Sounds logical?"
I was taken aback by his accuracy of the event with Ao'nung. "What? No, your son put me in no danger. Tsireya pulled me out, yes, but I'm sure Ao'nung would've-"
"Do not lie to your Olo'ektan. I know my son." There was no arguing with that.
We did as he said, and he dropped me off with Tsireya who was helping Tuk feed a juvenile ilu.
"So, your own clan couldn't teach you either?" She laughed. She continued to joke with a smile, "Ao'nung might've been right, maybe you are a bad learner."
For the third time in two days, I approached the water's edge. Before even trying to go over technique, Tsireya made me do something called a trust fall. I remember watching Kiri and Lo'ak doing this once for fun, and laughing as Kiri stepped aside and let Lo'ak fall flat on his back.
"Just stay stiff and fall back. I will catch you." She stated.
I tried, but chickened out. Then again, then again.
"Look at me, Idia." She pressed our foreheads together. "I see you, okay? Do you see me?"
"Yeah, I see you."
"No, you don't. You need to really see me. I am not going to let you fall. It will not happen. I will not let you get hurt, okay?"
I took in a deep breath and visualized her catching me. "Yes, okay. I see you, Tsireya."
I turned around and fell, and she caught me just like she said she would.
She smiled, "Good. Now let's get in the water."
I showed her my technique and she praised me for it. "Kiri said I need to stay steady in my movements, and not to thrash," I explained.
"Yes, she's right. Don't panic. If you go down, I will pull you up. The water is your friend, it is not going to hurt you."
I took some deep inhales through my nose to calm my heart. "I'm ready, I think."
We made our way out to neck height.
"I've got you. I see you, and I've got you. Now, step to the side, and stay calm. Feel the water around you. Use it to keep you up."
Stepping to the side to where the bottom was out of reach, I began to slowly swish my limbs. I went down a little bit, but I turned my chin up and kept my head above the surface with the force of my cupped hands moving. "Am I doing it?"
I couldn't hear very well because my ears were underwater, but I heard her shout, "Faster!" so I moved my limbs at a quicker pace. And wouldn't you know it, my head came all the way out of the water.
"You're treading water, oh my Eywa! We've got to show my dad, he'll be so proud of you. Jake, too!"
Proud of me? Those words were brand new to my vocabulary. It ignited something deep in the pit of my being. Something... happy?
She helped me back to where my toes could touch, and we were both grinning like idiots.
"I don't want to bother him, Tsireya, he's the Olo'ektan!"
"Don't be crazy. He'll be so happy to see your success!"
"Does this... uh, does this make us friends, now?" I asked, genuinely unknowingly. I had never really known people my age who were allowed to and wanted to engage with me.
"Of course it does, silly. As long as you want it to?" She questioned, to which I rapidly nodded. "Good. Now come on, let's go find them."
Norm wouldn't believe it; I had actually made a friend.

Experiment 5463
this is a preview of a possible series I will start if it seems there is enough interest in it! It will be a Neteyam x reader and Spider x reader fic, with likely fluff, angst, and smut. If this fic does receive interest and I end up making another part, I want you guys to choose who reader ends up with! Whoever gets the most votes will by the one y/n ends up with. Enjoy and please let me know if you want this to be a whole series!
IN THIS KIRI AND SPIDER HAVE NO ROMANCE OR ANYTHING, THEY R JUST GOOD FRIENDS
“Hurry up y/n” spider yelled back at you.
“I’m trying dumbass, just let me grab my mask!” The two of you ran out of the lab and towards the gates that led to the forest. Spider ran right through, but you stopped at the gates, hesitating. You were called y/n by the kinder scientists, and 5463 by the not so kind ones. As an infant, you had been brought from an orphanage on earth to the world of pandora, but of course not without reason. You were a test subject. The first of the trial, to be exact. Your entire life consisted within that military and research base. Your experiment? They were trying to alter your lungs to make it possible for you to breathe pandora air and oxygen. You had never been allowed to leave due to the constant watchfulness over you, but recently some of that has relented and they have allowed you to leave (only if you’re accompanied by someone). For now, you still needed the oxygen mask
You pushed past the gates and joined Spider on the other side. He smiled and you, then turned and continued into the forest. The trek wasn’t difficult for you, you had spent a lot of time training in order to improve your stamina. You had also gone through the research database to find videos teaching the Na’vi language. You had practiced with Spider in order to perfect it before going to meet the real Na’vi today. Spider had told you many stories about the Sully’s, a family of Na’vi he was very fond of. You had only heard pieces of Jake Sully’s story, as the scientists tried to keep many things from you because you were simply and experiment to most of them.
Every so often you slowed your walking to take in the stunning surroundings. Wildlife was everywhere, with bioluminescent plants and animals surrounding you. “Hurry up, we want to have as much time with them before eclipse as possible!” He would call to you, making you run to catch up again
It wasn’t long before the two of you reached the village. Spider grabbed your hand and led you up one of the trees the Na’vi there lived in. The two of you stopped infront of a young Na’vi girl who was the same height as you. “Spider!” She exclaimed with a large smile. “Tuk, this is y/n. She’s my friend from the camp.” He said, gesturing you foward. You stepped towards Tuk and smiled. “It’s nice to meet you Tuk.” You said in perfect Na’vi
Her eyes lit up with excitement, “You speak Na’vi?!” She said sweetly, to which you responded that you had been practicing
“Where are the others?” Spider asked her
“Down by the direhorses” she responded. You had just realized that Spider was still holding your hand as he turned around and led you down the tree towards an area with many Na’vi. “There they are!” Spider said, and turned to the right towards a group of 4 Na’vi. You two approached them, and the mother noticed first with a slightly exasperated expression on her face at Spider and your arrival. There was the mother, a man who you assumed to be Jake Sully, a taller boy, a slightly shorter boy, and a girl. The shorter boy turned first, catching sight of us.
“Spider!” he said, which got the other three Na’vi to also notice us. “Who is this girl?” He said to Spider, not knowing of your understanding of the language
“I am y/n. What is your name?” Your perfect response triggered impressed looks from the mother, along with the daughter and father. The younger boy seemed almost confused, while the old one just stared at you with a look in his eyes you couldn’t place. “I am Lo’ak. That is my mother, my father, my sister Kiri, and-“
“I am Neteyam.” The old boy said, cutting off Lo’ak. “It is very nice to meet you all” you said with a smile. “The same to you. Why don’t one you you show her around?” Jake sully turned and asked his kids.
“I’ll do it.” Neteyam said quickly. “Follow me”
you began to follow him, turning to say goodbye to the group. Spider had a look of hesitation on his face, but you were unsure as to why. You paused for a second, then Neteyam grabbed your hand and led you towards the village

Hanoi, Vietnam
Day 165 – Luang Prabang to Hanoi, Vietnam
I spent my final morning in Luang Prabang at Joma Café, a delicious bakery/café that my uncle Alan had recommended, run by a Canadian expat! I was surprised (and very excited) that the café served Canada’s famous Nanaimo Bar, and picked up one to have a ‘taste of home’ along with my coffee. I tucked into a cozy booth for several hours, doing research and bookings for the final 5 weeks of my trip, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangkok and Japan.
In the late afternoon, I packed up my bag and headed to the town centre to hire a Tuk Tuk to take me to the airport. At this point in Southeast Asia, I had become pretty used to negotiating a price when taking a Tuk Tuk, and agreed upon a price with the driver. However, he ended up demanding a higher price at the airport, after we had arrived. Even after months of travel, I was still never quite sure what to do in these situations, which occasionally arose. Given the increased charge that the driver demanded was little more than 50c Canadian, it felt petty to argue over such a small amount. At the same time, the whole practice also felt dishonest, and I struggled with it in principle – particularly wondering in the back of my mind whether I was a target of arbitrary price increases because I was a woman travelling alone. Irritated but not wanting to argue, I grudgingly paid the full amount and headed into the airport to catch my flight to Hanoi.
After a short flight to the east, I touched down in Vietnam just as the sun was setting. Having secured my e-visa to the country in advance, I sailed through customs and into the arrivals hall, where I had pre-arranged an airport transfer to take me into the old town of the city. While I generally preferred to take public transit or hail a tuk-tuk when backpacking, I had become cautious with my transportation when arriving at airports after dark. From my research on Hanoi, I had heard that taxi scams are unfortunately common, where certain drivers are paid by hotels and hostels to drive unwitting passengers to the wrong location, or charge excessive fares, to the point where a passenger would need to go to an ATM, or pay in foreign currency. In the communication I had received in advance from my hostel in Hanoi, I had also been fully briefed on possible scams in transit, and chose to pre-pay for a transfer to avoid the worry. I had also purchased a new Vietnamese SIM card in the airport, so that I could ensure I could follow my route to the old town city.
As my ride pulled away from the airport, we were almost immediately surrounded by scooters – hundreds of them! Weaving in and out of traffic, the drivers leaned heavily on their horns as they navigated their scooters along the road - carrying everything from tall plants, flowers and produce, and sometimes up to 3-4 people! After the quiet atmosphere of Luang Prabang, where honking was rare in the old city centre, the streets of Hanoi were quite the opposite, bursting with sounds from every direction. Heading South, we crossed the Red River and approached the Old Quarter of the city.
As it happened, even with my pre-arranged airport transfer, my driver still tried to drop me off at the wrong hostel. Fortunately I had already located my correct destination in Hanoi on Google Maps, and after much back-and-forth, and insistence on my part, I was finally taken to the correct destination. The streets of the old quarter are so narrow that cars cannot go down them, and I walked the final few minutes to my hostel on foot. I passed other hostels with live music, and food vendors with plastic stools arranged near their stalls for people to sit and eat. My friends from Vancouver, Kevin and Liane, had previously stayed at this hostel, Original Backpackers, a few years earlier, and recommended it highly – and rightly so! I felt immediately welcomed by the friendly staff, and began to relax again after many hours in transit. After several weeks of communal living, I had decided to pay a small premium for a private room, where I had a long, hot shower, before crashing immediately for the night.
Typical Food Stalls in the Old Quarter
Narrow Streets in the Old Quarter, with a perfectly placed photobomber!
Day 166 – Hanoi
I only had one full day in Hanoi – and woke up early, determined to pack in as much as possible! Through the front desk of my hostel, I arranged a motorbike “Backstreet Tour” for that afternoon, where a local Vietnamese guide would take me around the city on a motorbike to show me both popular sites, and what day-to-day life looked like in Hanoi.
In the morning, I began to wander the Old Quarter of Hanoi nearby to my hostel. This historic city has been inhabited for over a thousand years, and has been shaped by a complex history – from ancient kingdoms, dynasties and wars, French colonialism, Japanese occupation during the second world war, to more recently, with the influences of communism and the Vietnam War. After the war ended in the 1970s, it wasn’t until 1990s that the country began to open up to the outside world again, bringing in new opportunities for tourism and economic development. Modern day Hanoi is home to a multi-cultural community with strong French, Chinese and Russian influences. French colonial architecture continues to be visible throughout the city, with some streets resembling historic neighbourhoods in Paris. Near the Old Quarter, a large gothic cathedral constructed by French still stands; St. Josephs is one of the first structures built by the colonialists as they expanded their reach into Southeast Asia. Remarkably, the cathedral is still in good condition despite the wars of the last century.
The Old Quarter, part of a former citadel wall, is made up of a narrow series of alleys, tightly packed together. The historic area is known for its clusters of workshops, skilled craftsman, artisans and guilds, with the 40 streets of the area each named for the primary good and service provided on each street. It was a lively place to wander through in the morning; locals sat down on low, colourful plastic stools set up by street vendors, eating a breakfast of noodles. Honking scooters whizzed up and down the alleys, narrowing dodging each other. I spotted a few people playing chess in a doorway, right next to a vendor selling produce off the back of a scooter. I passed through one street mostly selling flowers, before turning the corner to find another street with almost all bamboo products.
I wandered further east to Hoan Kiem Lake, finally making an attempt to cross a major street – with scooters, cars and pedestrians going in every which way! One good piece of advice I had been given by friends who had visited Hanoi was to simply walk out into traffic at a slow, steady pace (without any sudden moves or stops!) and the scooters would simply weave around you. I walked beside locals crossing on my first few attempts, but it wasn’t long before I got the hang of it!
I stopped at Note Coffee to try my first Vietnamese-style egg coffee. This drink is traditionally prepared by beating egg yolks with sugar and milk, and bringing this mixture to a boil, before pouring in coffee. The result is a foamy, dessert-like coffee – and was delicious! The café itself was also unusual – with its walls decorated with thousands upon thousands of colourful post-it notes, with messages from previous visitors. The result made the entire café look like a giant art installation, and reminded me of Yayoi Kusama’s dotted “obliteration room”. Sufficiently loaded up on sugar and caffeine, I continued onwards towards the lake, popping into a few art galleries and stalls on my way. Along the streets, I was constantly amazed by the number of vendors selling fruit, art, and countless other items off the back of their scooters. Pushing or driving their laden motorbike through the crowds, these vendors would make sales right, left and centre – all while keeping moving!
Arriving at the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake, I crossed a traditional, red wooden bridge to Ngoc Son Temple, located on a small island in the middle of the lake. Aside from the crowds of other tourists, it was a quiet respite from the buzz of the surrounding Old City of Hanoi.
As it was approaching noon, I returned to my hostel to meet Kien, my local guide for the afternoon motorbike tour. Slightly younger than me, Kien had grown up in Hanoi, and was excellent company for the afternoon. His motorbike was a vintage, army-green, “Minsk”, a heavy duty motorbike that was brought back from the Soviet Union in the 80s. As luck would have it – I was the only person on the tour that day, which allowed Kien to take me out and around the city for almost 7 hours! I could scarcely believe that I was able to see and experience so much of Hanoi in a day.
Kien first took me to Train Street, where twice a day a speeding train passes through the Old Quarter, mere feet from the front stoops of people’s homes. We continued onwards to Hanoi’s notorious black market, where vendors sell everything from car and mechanical parts to appliances, DVDs and electronics. Kien pointed out things as we cycled; the dense scramble of black electric wires overhead called “black noodles” by the locals; the French colonial architecture throughout the city; and the “tube houses” of the Old Quarter – narrow homes that exchanged their width for height and depth – as a way of lowering property tax, since the wider your house, the more you pay! Many of these tall, skinny homes had large water cannisters mounted on the top of the buildings, used to maintain water pressure. We also visited a few wet markets – where every imaginable item was for sale, from a rainbow of produce to live turtles, eels, and frogs.

Between our ventures into different areas of the city, Kien took me to many local restaurants and wet markets along the way, to try a wide range of different Vietnamese food, including more Ca Phe Trung (egg coffee), Banh Mi Chao (a hearty breakfast skillet), Banh Cuon (rice rolls, stuffed with pork), Pho Cuon (fresh beef rolls), Pho, and Banana Flower Salad. We also stopped at a tiny Bia Hoi right stand next to the road – “Bia Hoi” literally translating to “fresh beer”, and is draught beer that is sold on street corners and tiny bars throughout the city. It is delivered daily and is tapped straight out of a large steel barrel. Kien and I sat on tiny red plastic stools on the pavement, sipping the light beer and snacking on roasted peanuts from a nearby vendor.

A particularly interesting part of the day is when Kien took me East of the city center to the banks of the Red River. I was able to walk along Cau Long Bien, a colonial-era cantilever bridge that was heavily bombarded during the Vietnam war, as it was a key point of connection between Hanoi and the nearby port. Spanning a mile and a half in length, it is still one of the longest cantilever truss bridges in the world. While only part of the original bridge still stands, the bridge continues to be a symbol of pride for the Vietnamese people. Underneath the Cau Long Bien, impoverished families live in a cluster of floating homes, make-shift shelters that have been built on rafts of plastic barrels.

We continued onwards to Bai Giua, or “Banana Island”, an island located in the middle of the Red River next to Hanoi. Since this island is on a flood plain, no apartments or concrete buildings are allowed, and the island is mostly used for farming, including fields of bananas and papayas. Kien maneouvered his motorcycle down a maze of dirt paths between the fields as we explored the island. Barking dogs sometimes came up to our motorcycle, and ran along next to us for a while, before dropping off the trail again. We passed by many farmers working in the fields, typically wearing a conical, straw hat, (called “Non La”) tied around the wearer’s chin with a piece of cloth. These multi-purpose hats not only protect farmers from the fierce tropical sun, but can be used as a fan and also as a basin for water.
As the sun began to set over the Red River, we headed back into Hanoi, and drove along the large, tree lined boulevards around the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace. Our day ended with a bit of a surprise - as Kien’s motorcycle broke down in the middle of an intersection! Fortunately, this seemed to be a common-enough occurrence in Hanoi, and all the other bikes moved around us seamlessly as we tried to get off the road. All in a day’s adventure! Arriving back in the Old Quarter after a terrific day of exploring Hanoi, I quickly crashed for the night, as I would be waking up early the following morning to catch a bus into the Sapa Mountains, a day’s journey northwest of Hanoi.
